I’ve tried a couple privacy screens now, and this one is hands down the best. Good viewing angle, perfect fit. I balked at the cost to replace mine I left it at a hotel, and replacement from a different seller was noticeably worse.

The screen cover does a good job of providing privacy. The attached images are at full lighting and low screen light levels which are recommended. Both directly in front of it and to the side where visibility should be limited. The vendor recommends keeping back light levels lower for improved privacy.The biggest issue is it only attaches to the screen by the magnetic strip at the top and not strongly so any time the screen goes less than 90 degrees or is pivoted towards you, it hangs or falls off the laptop. This is demonstrated by the picture where it is hanging. If you use your laptop while laying down at all this does not work and you just need to take the screen cover off.

It works great and gives privacy! However, my only issue is that it only sticks at the top (because of its magnet) but it doesn't stick at the bottom due to no magnet. Im always getting scared that if I close my laptop too fast that it might accidentally get stuck and fold at the bottom. It would had been nice to have something at the bottom to make it stick and be safer.

So the screen protector itself it's definitely worth it. High quality, works as per described but vendor is reshipping returned items! The product box was OPEN, the screen protector came with BAD scratches and it was placed in a transparent folder (which isn't part of the original packaging!!!).5* for the product!1* for the vendor, specially at this price range! Pathetic behaviour!

Before replacement: 2 stars.I was excited to get the product reading the reviews but It was very disappointing! I don’t know if this is a common issue but the privacy screen I got has a hug curvature one side of the screen is completely unusable. The flip side is ok. But because of the curvature creates a gap in between the display and the privacy screen It affects the clarity greatly. The product is well packaged and high in quality. But its not usable at all. I took it off. Returning this one and giving it another chance by ordering another one. I’ll update once I receive the new one.After replacement: 5 starsJust got the replacement and it works perfectly. It was a bit different than the precious one I returned. The magnetic strip at the top (previous one) was more metallic/plastic material (which I worried it might scratch the display, and one side was moreFlat to the surface of the screen and other side had some protrusion (thicker). The replacement has foam padding on the magnetic strip which I prefer, and the thickness is even on both sides. And best of all the screen protector sits flat on the display of the MacBook as it should. I think the first one I’ve gotten was perhaps the older version of the product or they recycled previously returned/defective product.Personal note:It’s nice to have. Very nice quality. It is a bit pricy. That said, I do worry carrying it around in my backpack. I do worry that it could get damaged (bent, wrinkled, from other objects and natural use of the backpack). I wouldn’t want to keep the laptop closed with the screen protector still attached. Retina display are more sensitive could be damaging if kept on the display with laptop closed. (Although it has foam padding on both sides of the magnetic strip, it still has some sort of thickness that may apply uneven pressure to the screen when closed). Considering all these things, despite the quality and functionality, I still question the practicality and durability of having this privacy screen protector. But I do believe this is the best choice to protect your Retina display on your MacBook. You DONT want tradition screen protector in the MacBook display. The adhesive will most likely damage the screen if you ever try to remove the screen protector. The magnetic strip keeps the MacBook protected without the adhesive of traditional screen protectors that will damage the Retina display of the MacBook.Final verdict:I do think this is the best choice for your MacBook display protection. However, I do worry about the safe portability of the product for the reasons I’ve mentioned above. If I can find a hard shell laptop case I will probably keep it on the laptop even with the lid closed despite my concerns. Otherwise, I’ll probably return it and just enjoy the original display and trust the workmanship of Apple products.

First of all, SightPro has the best customer service. Not only did they try to troubleshoot my issues with me and respond to my requests, but when it was deemed that this product wouldn't work well for my needs they issued me a refund without questions.The product itself is wonderful for most applications of a MacBook, however I work with digital arts and unfortunately there is a small but very noticeable decrease in brightness (true for most, if not all, privacy screens). What really made it hard for me was the slight blur effect because the screen was not always flush against my laptop screen. And I wasn't a fan of using the stickers to stick it to the screen (I had to request extra stickers from SightPro just to get a good seal, but still didn't help too much). Overall, however I gave the product 5 stars for customer service as they really back their product AND the product will be great for many people with various uses. Just not me unfortunately.
