Update 5/23/2024 Seller proactively contacted me and kindly issued a full refund. For this, I’m changing rating from one to four stars. I’d like to give seller the benefit of the doubt that this quality issue was an exception, but I can’t know for sure.Original one-star review. I’m not sure what this is supposed to be good for. It’s not sticky enough to hold and the magnet isn’t as strong as I’d hoped. If it would at least stick, it might be somewaht useful, but no. I’m so disappointed.

UPDATE:Tried the second roll and it worked correctly. The first one must have been a fluke.I bought two of these for my classroom vocabulary cards. I usually use a different brand. They do the job as far as ability to stick to my laminated cards and magnetism. The only issue I have the pulling it off the roll. It will not budge. I have to push it backwards off the roll and cut with scissors. It may just be that roll.

As a teacher I need something quick and easy for preschools to put up on the white board as well as sturdy. I needed to put multiple pieces on in order for it to stick. I’m looking something where I can put just one small piece of magnet on. Plus you need to peal off the white paper on one side. Just to time consuming for my goal.For my purpose this did not work very well.

I use these tapes as a backing on size 10 calendars. I cut off two small strips and placed them on the back of the calendars for people to attach to their refrigerators.

Ich habe verschiedene metallische Objekte getestet. Bis auf eine kleine Mutter hielt an dem Magnetband überhaupt nichts. Die magnetische Wirkung geht gegen null. Damit taugt das Band höchstens für sehr leichte Sachen, wie Fotos oder ähnliches.Das Foto mit dem abgebildeten 6-Kantschlüssel der an dem Band klebt, ist Fake. Habe ich ebenfalls getestet, mit mehreren von diesen Schlüsseln. Kein einziger hat gehalten. Sieht man auch an dem Foto selbst, dass dort die magnetische Fläche deutlich dicker als in real ist.Das Band selbst ist sehr dünn (ca.1 mm oder weniger), wodurch auch die 6 Meter auf die kleine Rolle passen. Allerdings ist diese Dicke auch der Grund, warum das Band absolut nichts, außer ein paar Gramm an Gewicht halten kann.Das Abtrennen mit der Abrissfläche funktioniert auch nur mit etwas roher Gewalt. Da ist man mit einer Schere deutlich schneller.Fazit:Die Magnetische Wirkung ist sehr gering. Es hält weder Messer, Schrauben, große Muttern, Scheren etc..Für Fotos und sehr leichte Sachen ok. Für alles andere unbrauchbar. 3 Sterne.

I don’t like that you have to peel the backing off to use it. Also, parts of it peel off the sticky part when you take off the backing.

I bought this to put under my phone case because my phone case is a Ouija board and I wanted to add a small planchette to it but I wanted it all to be magnetic so that I can move the planchette around. I needed something extremely thin so that my phone case would still clasp around my phone. This did the job. Unfortunately I can't take a photo or a video of my phone with my phone. Lol. It is easy to use and definitely a sturdy, light-weight magnet. I love that it is in a tape dispenser which makes it easy to cut to size.

Not worth even trying. Doesn’t hold up paper. Barely hold up another piece of itself. Avoid.
