Magnet isn’t super strong- would be fine if the magnet you are using on it is stronger.

I needed to put a magnetic backing on the back of my phone. This product seemed like it would work, and it did. Two strips on the back of my phone provided all the magnetic stability that I needed. i’ve also used it for photos on the fridge. Good stuff. Good price.

I used these magnets on some terrariums I had made for the refrigerator as gifts. The adhesive on the back of the magnet is very strong. The magnet is also very strong and stuck well to the refrigerator.

Used it to keep a washing machine lid raised (it bumps in the shelves if you try to fully raise it, doesn't stay raised without support). Worked perfectly.

The adhesive back was unable to hold a strip on a clean plastic surface. The tape bent off the flat surface into its original curved shape from being coiled on the roll. The magnet aspect seems at least halfway decent, however this is useless without the ability to hold that magnet in place with the adhesive

I used this to help my kitchen cabinet doors to close tightly. The magnetic force wasn’t as good as I thought it would be for this use, probably because of the weight of the doors, but if you close the door and push it up against the magnet, it holds. It’s not for heavy duty use but so far seems to have done the trick for me!

I like that I can cut it to fit whatever it is I need at the time. It's quite efficient at holding items on metal. The only caveat I have is that because it is a tape on one side, it would not be good for use on non-flattish items. I tried to use it on a small decoration I wanted to hang on my door, but because of the sculpted back of the piece, the adhesive could not get a grip. Small issue, because I've used it on other things and it's great.
