I like this string chopper- it's quick and easy and chops in no time. This is a small manual chopper and will hold small amount of vegetable. The blades will get stuck if you overstuff it. I use this for my daily cooking where I need few pieces of garlic, a slice of ginger and a small onion and I could chop all this in one go. I cut onion in big chunks before putting it in and it fine chops everything in just few pulls of strings.I find it easier to use this mini chopper when I need small quantity because it's easy to clean and store. It is manual but does not need muscle power to pull the string. The chopper is made of sturdy plastic and blades are stainless steel and very sharp. I prefer using fine chopped onions in my cooking and avoid paste and this chopper does a fairly good job.

I have a food processor that I love using as well as a manual chopper that I love using too. But sometimes you don’t want to go to all the trouble of getting those out or cleaning up from the manual chopper. That’s where this little guy comes in and it’s super handy and easy to clean up after. This is perfect for that quick chop that you need for a small recipe or minimal need I foresee this being something I use 2 to 3 times a week and I will be forever grateful to not have to clean up or deal with my entire processor. It does the job well, it saves a lot of time, it’s super sharp (so be careful), and it’s a great value. It’s a perfect size for small jobs so it doesn’t take a lot of space which is also cool.

Great little chopper for any type of vegetable, fruit, meats, great for salads, easy to use, throw in the food and pull the cord, the more you pull the finer the food gets, very handy and easy to clean

This is fine, especially if you're chopping up small things like garlic, cherry tomatoes, etc. Once you start working with larger vegetables like onions, carrots, etc., it becomes a lot more work because you have to pre-chop the vegetable in question before it can go into the processor. Feels a little extra, but I can see situations where it's useful.

I really like this so far. Feels like pretty good quality, the rope that you pull looks like nylon so hope it lasts. I do have a food processor, but it's not going to work if I'm only going to chop up a small amount, or maybe I just don't feel like climbing up on the stool to get it out of the top cupboard. It's just me at home, just made some tacos and chopped up my veggies using this. It worked just as I hoped it would. Also will take up a lot less space in the dishwasher than my big one.

I was excited to get this manual string pull chopper but I didn't like the design. I know it is small but I could only put about a quarter of an onion in before the blades were knocked off the spindle. The whole thing was cumbersome to get exactly right. The spindle blade, getting the cover closed, the amount of vege all could throw off getting the thing to work .
