We are always on the lookout for fans we can use if the ac goes out in the summer or if we have outdoor events on a warm day. This osculating fan will be perfect for when I am at the welcome and signup booth in our volunteer parking lot during events.Battery: Lasts about 5 hours for us, which is more than enough time in areas we have no access to a power supply. It runs fine when it is connected to a power source as well.Okay, fan strength- it won't cool a whole room, but it is great for the immediate area like our morning coffee table and keeping a small room from getting stagnant and musty. The fact it is not reliant on a power cord is a HUGE plus.Frustrating learning curve: I honestly almost gave up on this. The instructions were not clear, and the silver button is decorative only. I finally figured out that I needed to do the alignment as instructed, then pull the fan part upward where the arrow button was. I still can not quite replicate the process reliably but it no longer takes me twenty minutes of fiddling with it. I took a star off for the odd way it handles folding and unfolding.

Good fan. Good value for money. Nice air out put.

The quality is excellent. Unfortunately I can’t seem to get the fan to “open” up for extending it. So it’s really not usable in the collapsible state. Will try again later as I am quite frustrated. There is a silver button with an arrow but it doesn’t even move or do anything. Ugh!

This is a gret fan. I thought the expandable base was great. The travel case is a hufge perk I never knew i needed as well. i like to work with resin and you need a kot of ventalation of moving air to keep the chemicals from burning your lungs. It is a very causetic hobby. I like this as a desk fab and as a circulating fan. The roatating base is very appreciated. his is a small fan and excellent for small faces. I wish I had one during college when the off campus apartment I lived in was a converted attic. I would have loved the breeze on those humid days.

I REALLY like this fan, and can't wait to travel with it. I'm one of those people that just has to sleep with a fan on me (much to my wife's chagrin). This thing is PERFECT. Really well thought out and designed.Pros: - Battery powered (I haven't gotten to test the life on it, but I think it should last for a while). - Oscillating (oscillates from the base, very cool). - Super collapsible to a very compact size. - Good height when fully extended - Good air flow (not as good as a wall fan, but very good). - Remote is a really nice touch.Cons: - The remote has a very easy to open cover and one of those coin cell batteries. I have a 1-year-old around the house, and this makes me very nervous. I really wish the cover was harder to get off or had a screw.Excellent fan, can't wait to travel with it!

This thing is as cool as you'd think. It has a high build quality to it. You can tell the design was well thought out. I love the little recess for the remote. It blows almost, but not quite as hard as a house power fan, but it is so space efficient without losing any features. It even oscilates and has a sleep timer, and a night more for no lights while sleeping. I recommend it.
