We purchased this for our seven year old to use on a trip to Puerto Rico, where we knew we would doing quite a bit of snorkeling. I looked at several snorkeling sets, it was priced well and had good reviews. The bag is really cute, and was easy for my son to carry. The fins worked fine for what we needed and the mask fit his face really well. He had minimal to no leakage during the several times he used it. The snorkel itself however broke on the second day. We ended up having to buy another snorkel which was frustrating. I felt like the set should have lasted our entire trip.

These Mares snorkel sets are super cute, and the case is great for packing the whole works in. Plus, the fact that the case has drainage vent fabric on the bottom is smart! However--the frustrating feature is that there is nothing anywhere on the product to indicate what age-range these are designed to fit. Especially the mask--is it made to fit a three-year-old or a six-year-old face? I was disappointed when I got my L/XL set and it looks way too small for my six-year-old grandson.

My 7 year old daughter really wanted to try snorkeling this summer, and she loves this set! The backpack is delightful. However, after 2 months of frequent use, the frame of the goggles is coming apart a bit, and they're leaking. She isn't overly rough on them, so this was a bit disappointing.

this set looks just fine !!! My daughter is 4 years old in love with this set, now she dives and swims even more with great pleasure! The daughter at 4 years old wears size 10, and the youngest at 2 years old wears size 8, and this set suits them, since they are swimming together.

The mask and fins fit perfectly and have a lot of room as the 6 year old grows. We also liked the handy shark bag for storage.

Beautiful, high-quality snorkel set for tiny humans. My daughter received this for her 6th birthday and she loved it. The bag was perfect to tote her gear and extra clothes. After treating the mask (brushing it with toothpaste) and putting in defogger drops, it sealed with very little leakage. Snorkel was the perfect size.

Excellent quality and value for the money. Grandchildren ages 4 and 5 sail across the water with the fins on. Mask fit is really good, no leaks. Little tricky getting the snorkel placed correctly so they did not trigger the back flow stop. Would recommend to friends and family. Boys love the cute carrying case, their mother loves the functionality of it.

Currently teaching my 4.5yo how to use snorkels/flippers and this is an adorable and very well made set. For now, she prefers masks to goggles. The sizing is PERFECT. With adjustable straps for the flippers and mask (Her foot is a size 9 and I’m able to get a snug fit on her little foot). I absolutely love the travel bag too.I highly recommend this set.

These are really solid... Quality snorkeling gear for little kids.We got the size M/L, and they fit our 6-year-old perfectly. A bit big for our 4-year-old, but he's not really coordinated enough to use the fins yet anyway.

My 8 year old loved his snorkel kit. It fit very well and was water tight. We also bought a different one for my 3 year old daughter and it worked very well for her as well. The quality is also really good. Sturdy flippers and the goggles are pretty solid.

I love the bag and it is a quality mask and snorkel. I like how the top closes to prevent water getting in if their head goes too deep. I do wish the snorkel was a bit longer, but I guess for children, it would be shorter.
