Nice steering wheel with good workmanship.Because the old steering wheel is on a tapered and keyed shaft, it requires some effort to remove. Remove the shaft nut. Have a helper pull (in line with the shaft) on the old wheel then lightly tap the shaft end with a brass hammer; it will pop loose easily.Try and shorten the time from order to shipping. Paying for expedited shipping implies, “Get the thing out the door quickly!”

This steering wheel looks shiny and silver and went into the boat easily. The boat is not in the water so I cannot attest to the function. Assume it's awesome unless you hear back from me!

We had a 13 1/2 inch on our boat. Wanted to upgrade to a larger steering wheel. This one is perfect. Very comfortable and boat responds much better.

due to the lack of power steering on my boat ,this 15 1/2 inch steering wheel steers alot better than the 13 1/2 whether i turn port or starboard due to less turning radius..looks great on the boat too...steering is alot easier now....

I had to get a new wheel after replacing my old steering helm because the old wheel was salt welded to the shaft. I tried a 15" all stainlees wheel from wm and it was slippery and didnt fit my hand well. This wheel was a grand slam. Love it love it love it! My daughter even raved about it with her first time doing 30 mph with the new wheel and only having driven about 7 mph with the all ss wheel....and....this one was better than a third less cost than the wm all ss wheel. Highly recommend!
