  • Heated oxygen sensors should be checked or replaced every 60,000 miles, while unheated oxygen sensors should be checked or replaced every 30,000 miles

  • It is best to replace O2 sensors in pairs. Because, replacing one sensor will cause the ECU to set a code for the other sensors. This is because the new sensor switching activity is much faster than that of the older aged sensors

  • If you are using an open end wrench, try an O2 socket. If this fails, try a long ratchet or breaker bar in conjunction with your socket to generate more torque. After the sensor is removed, be sure to use a thread cleaner to clean up the bung threads

  • 1 Oxygen sensor circuit failure

2 The mixture is too rich

3 The mixture is too lean

4 The three-way catalytic converter is damaged or fails

    5 Damaged ECM

Easy installation, plug n play parts. No more engine light. Passed emissions inspection with no problems, well worth the small investment.

I've had these on my truck for a couple months now, so about 2k miles since I installed the o2 sensors and no issues so far.

So far so good after about 1000 miles . My check engine light went off 2 days after replacing my rear o2 sensors on my 2010 mountaineer (had lean codes for both rear o2 sensors) and has been off since . I was hesitant that these were going to work as they do look different from the factory o2 sensors but took the chance and installed them . The wire leads are a little longer than factory but a couple zip ties gets them out of the way from being damaged . I was a bit skeptical about using aftermarket O2 sensors as being in the automotive industry I've seen a ton of issues with aftermarket parts such as this on cars but couldnt see spending the money on OEM sensors on a vehicle that has 187k miles on it . As for longevity time will tell the factory sensors lasted 187k miles if I get a couple years out of these I will be satisfied.

Replaced the original 02 sensors on my 95 Mustang with the Marsflex and the car runs like new again! Great product and price. I would recommend this brand.
