  • Heated oxygen sensors should be checked or replaced every 60,000 miles, while unheated oxygen sensors should be checked or replaced every 30,000 miles

  • It is best to replace O2 sensors in pairs. Because, replacing one sensor will cause the ECU to set a code for the other sensors. This is because the new sensor switching activity is much faster than that of the older aged sensors

  • If you are using an open end wrench, try an O2 socket. If this fails, try a long ratchet or breaker bar in conjunction with your socket to generate more torque. After the sensor is removed, be sure to use a thread cleaner to clean up the bung threads

  • 1 Oxygen sensor circuit failure

    2 The mixture is too rich

    3 The mixture is too lean

    4 The three-way catalytic converter is damaged or fails

    5 Damaged ECM

installed I now get 400 miles to 25 gallons again. on my old 02 that were shot and 20 yrs old I was getting half that milage. 2004 5.3 suburban.

The connector does not fit my car as the AZ verified the fit. It has an extra slit (the longer one) that prevented the connection. We were able to remove it with small knives to carve/scape it out to make it work. We could have broken the pins doing it, luckily we didn’t. It is nice that it came with antiseize on the threads. Other than the connector not fitting, it works and solved out check engine light O2 sensor code.

Bought it in the middle of September and it failed the following month just after the return date. I would have given it zero stars but it did work for a month. Cant recommend this product when it fails soon after installation.

Perfect fit for my 2003 Chevy Avalanche and my 2005 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 L V8 upstream and Downstream sensors.Easy to install. Engine running great now with no misfiring. Great Price!! For the pair cost 75% less than auto parts store . I bought two of the two pack and replaced all 4 on my vehicle.

Purchased in July. The part quit in October. I might have had a defective part but Marsflex stand by it's warranty. Would recommend and use again.
