Very impressive, usually new trowels come with burrs and need to be filed. Not needed for this!

I love this trowel. Not a Curry but darn close. Originally purchased a Level5 trowel but wasn't happy with it. This one is great. Perfect curve, just the right amount of flex and after getting used to how it feels I'm very happy. If you use a hawk and trowel for drywall finishing I highly recommend trying this one out.

I'm a diy'er and this is really great. I've been using knives for drywall for years as that's what I first learned on from a knowledgable neighbor. After doing more research I figured I'd give trowels a try. This is great, it's much easier to use. As it's 'broken in' it has a slight bend to it, which makes it easier to make overlapping passes over the mud without the corners of the trowel digging in. I've always had that problem with the knives. I saw another reviewer complain that this trowel isn't flat, it's not supposed to be, it's 'broken-in' so it has a slight bend to it. They make a flat one but personally I'd go for this one.

After watching UT's Vancouver Carpenter, I decided to move up to a hawk and trowel. Most of my previous work was small drywall repairs where I could easily utilize a 4" or 6" knife, etc. for decent results. Now, I'm working on a major house renovation and really needed to up my game. I didn't want to skimp on a cheap trowel so I went with this one, and I'm very glad I did. It took me awhile to get used to using it, but once I got the hang of using it, I've found it to be a great tool. It has definitely increased my speed and ability to do larger joints. I'm very happy along with the results I'm having with it.

I got this trowel on sale and it looks and works great. I was looking for one in stainless steel and this is it! As someone who uses this type of tool only occasionally, I can't imagine needing to buy another one based on the quality and my experience with using a similar model in the past which I still have. Well, that is so long as it doesn't get lost/stolen!

It is no curry, but it does the job well, just as good. The quality is not as great as curry, it is a little fragile. But for the price this trowel is just great. If you take care of it, it may last just as much as a Curry.

Awesome with it ground down to be more effective. Stainless so it won't rust. The handle could be a little smaller in size, otherwise 5-Stars.
