I bought this to replace an old plastic Coke bottle coin bank that broke at the base. This is the perfect size, and the slotted lid makes it easy to use. The wide mouth makes it easy to get the change out when the time comes.

Got this for my daughter who works somewhere now where there are cash tips. This large glass jar has a clot in the lid that is perfect for dropping in coins but also paper bills. She was thrilled since her old one was really only good for coins. Great way to encourage saving for something.
