Reviews complain about the wedge type being too small. For me, these are too large , at least the part that goes down the spout. If you do not have direct access , like me with two stories, you cannot shove them in.At least the wedge type with small handles on top I can drop them in with an extension.

I have plastic mesh on my gutters but neighbors downspouts were putting debris into our common drain pipe. Bought these and placed them in downspouts. Easy to use, well designed and will serve the purpose.

軒樋にはいろいろな形があるので、球形では転び、ずれが出てしまいますので、できれば上端に引っ掛ける部分が欲しかったですね。

縦樋60φ用の塩ビ角樋に使おうと思いましたが、使えません。大きすぎました、無理に入れようとすると半分位割れてしまいました。柔軟性はありません。ステンレスのクラゲが安くて良いと思いました。住宅用にお勧めしません。

購入後、早速、取り付けてみましたが、屋根と樋の間が狭くて、入らず、取り付けられなかったです。購入前に屋根と樋の間の寸法を確認するべきでした。

I have 2x4 gutter downspouts on an out-building. In the past, I have used the aluminum stretchy downspout guards and even no guards at all, but both resulted in plugged downspouts and leaves/needles floating along the whole length until the water could very slowly drain, not to mention very cold hands trying to clear the 100' of gutters in the middle of the NY winter. I bought the Gutter Balloon Guards and put them in this fall. The guards easily fit into the downspouts and the large round balloon size of these allows draining through and round these guards. Now, when I check the gutters, the leaves are dry and down at the Gutter Guard end of the gutter, not floating the length of the full gutter. I am able to clean the gutter out quickly and have no worries now. These guards are tall, so make sure you don't have any gutter holder/bar above the downspout hole. I realize other reviewers are disappointed these are made of plastic, but I am more thankful they work!

I bought these to replace several skupper drain filters. They fit in the hole ok but one blew out in the wind and another broke when I tried to pull it out and there was ice on it. I like the sturdy wire version with wire loops at the bottom so they do not scrape the PVC.

I've had my landscape business for 36 years and have had some clients for 29 years and I wind up cleaning out their gutter and downspouts every autumn. Here's what I've found out: 1. galvanized and aluminum mesh gutter crowns decompose quickly ( w/i a year); old school plastic crowns get brittle and crack up in the sun; copper mesh crowns are great BUT only for copper gutters....otherwise you get a bi-metal corrosive effect and the metals get compromised.Polypropylene is great... I transferred my poly bed liner from my 1990 Ford Ranger to my 2010 Ford Ranger and it's still as good as new (lots of scrapes and scratches but not brittle or deteriorating) so I tried these gutter guards and love the ease of installation. I have a mix of 5 and 6 inch gutters on my house and these worked fine. One other plus is that I have de-icing cables that run down the downspouts on the north side and because these crowns have individual prongs that insert into the mouth of the downspout it was easy to work them around the cables.

I will have to wait for some rotten weather to finish my review - but so far these devices seem to be constructed more sensibly than the small metal wire gutter guards that I have been using - and that clog up every 2-3 months requiring a trip up to the roof and cleaning them off.The items are exactly as described and were shipped quickly and seem quite cost competitive. If they save me a few trips to the roof, then they are well worth it. If they fail to perform, I will revise this review.

我が家の縦雨樋の防塵網は、塩ビ(？)製で接着されているため、中に詰まった木の葉等の除去が困難でした。その網が一部破損したので代わりの物を探していました。ステンレス製の通称「くらげ」という防塵網もありましたが、１個２千円位とかなり高価。そんな時に、お手軽価格のこの製品を発見。さっそく購入して取り付けてみたところ、ちょうどいい具合で役に立ちそうです。（追伸）この商品は雨樋の穴のサイズを選ぶので，注意が必要です。穴の直径６～７センチ位ならいいのですが，それ以外だと安定しません。さらに，４個の商品が重ね合わされて小さな箱に入れられてくるので，一番内側のものは押しすぼめられて脚（？）の反発がなく，そのままでは使用困難でした。 【追記】購入・設置して約1年半経過しました。雨樋の穴が５センチの所に無理矢理差し込んだひとつは，脚の反発力がすっかり失われて抜けそうになっていました。値段も，私が購入したときは4個で2,800でしたが，現在は相当値上がりしているようです。一方，ステンレス製の「くらげ」はホームセンターで数百円で手に入るようになったので，今選ぶなら後者かな････ただ，この「バルーンガード」は「くらげ」よりも背が高いので，落ち葉が上に積み重なって雨水が流れなくなる心配があまり無いのは，良い点だと思います。

These are pretty expensive for what you get. One of the 4 included in the box broke in my hand before I even tried to install it. I managed to install 3 in 3x4 downspouts and they fit these larger downspouts well. I just don’t think they are going to last based upon the one breaking in my hand.

This gutter guard is well made but DID NOT work for my application. You need WIDE gutters and a LARGE downspout tube for this to work in many gutters. If I had larger gutters I would have been happy with the purchase. Returned with NO ISUES and promptly refunded by seller. Great service.
