The lights are very heavy duty, not lightweight plastic. The magnets are strong so no worries about them falling off. I'm using them for my 40 foot fifth wheel and the signal is strong enough to reach. The LED's are very bright.

These worked fantastic on 30ft trailer. The packaging was intact everything was included as stated. The instructions were easy to understand. There were no issues with connection to the receiver. The lights were bright, the suction was tight, and the emergency cable was there to use if needed. The lights were excellent out of the package ready to use. They looked great, quality was much better than expected for the price.

Nice quaility product, worked as needed, used on 36 foot 5th wheel. Based on others recommendations added secondary retention. First big road trip coming up, if anything changes then I'll update.

These tow lights are perfect and way easier than using other ones that have a long cord. The magnets on the bottom have great strength and keep them exactly where you placed them without having to worry about them falling off mid tow. They are super bright and easily seen by other vehicles behind you. The wireless receiver sends a very strong signal and they have a really long range without any issues in the signal. Only downside I’ve found is they aren’t rechargeable and they do require 4 AA batteries in each unit. So I ended up buying rechargeable batteries that charge with a C charger. Even after using them for several hours in the dark so they were constantly on they didn’t seem to drain the batteries very fast. Definitely a good buy for tow truck drivers if you can afford one of the overpriced tow mate lights.

It does an excellent job - easy to install and bright. The magnets make it stay in place in general, but they aren't strong enough by themselves. I don't know how the cables are supposed to work, but I use two zip ties per light in a criss cross pattern to insure that they don't fall off. They will fall off otherwise. Yeah its not perfect but zip ties are cheap. Customer service is excellent - they are prompt, quick and solved my issue.

They definitely work, I was a little skeptical but you just put batteries in each light (4 AA's for each one), plug in the light thing, turn the car or RV on, turn the lights on (switches on side of lights, and they worked..blinkers and brakes.. easy peasy.I was reading some reviews saying that they don't stay attached, and people had to zip tie the lights to stay, but they came with wires to attach, and the magnets are pretty strong.

Put batteries in and turned them on, works great! Life is good right??? Kinda. Stuck the magnets on my (empty trailer) trailer fenders and off I went only to have them fall off about 5 times the first 50 miles. I did have them tethered so I didn't lose a light but I did lose the little door that holds the batteries in which turned out to be a huge pain. Don't worry though, the manufacturer will sell you a new battery door for $5 and $8 to ship it. Lights stayed much more secure when the trailer was loaded on the way home. Have used them 3 times this summer, all trips 30-50 miles, all ranging from 45mph-75mph. Here's my 2cents... Do they work for someone like me who tows 1-3 times a year? Sure. Keep in mind the quality is not great, use the tether and use a piece of duct tape to keep them from rattling off. Also put a piece of tape on the battery doors so you don't lose it if it falls off. Don't forget you need to get a 4 wire flat plug splitter to still be able to use your trailer brakes.

Definitely would not recommend.I bought these after having traveled thousands of miles with a similar set of Hopkins lights. One of those lights quit working and I bought these as a slightly cheaper replacement. Hindsight says I should've just forked over the extra cash for the Hopkins lights, which work reliably and stay mounted where you put them. The Master Tailgaters lights were a complete waste of money. They fall off. So, if you decide to buy these lights (which, again, I wouldn't recommend), you need to know that they include a tether for a reason. It's because the lights won't stay on without it, so you need to use the tether every single time -- and it's not easy or convenient to use.I received these lights the day I needed to leave on a trip. I stuck them to my trailer, attached the transmitter, and then spent quite a bit more time trying to figure out how I could use the provided cables to tether the lights to the trailer. There are no hooks or loops of any kind on the lights to hold the tether on the light, so your only option is to wrap the tether around the light and then somehow figure out a way to wrap it around something on your trailer and fasten it tightly, or the lights just unwind from the tether when they fall off and are gone despite the use of the tether. Having figured out that the only way to fasten the tether was going to be to drill a hole in the trailer, thread the hole and bolt the tether to the trailer (which, by the way, is completely impractical; I want to use them on more than one trailer and will have to do this to every trailer I want to use them on), I decided I'd just have to run this first trip without the tethers. I really needed to get on the road. The magnets seemed strong and I would be on pavement; surely it would be OK for one trip, and then I could spend some more time working out the tether problem.Ha. Wrong. I lost a light within the first 50 miles. Did not see it fall off, have no idea where it might be along the road, and have no doubt that it either got run over or broke when it hit the pavement, so I didn't go back hunting for it.The instructions that come in the box say a single replacement light can be ordered, but that's not an option on Amazon or on the Master Tailgater website. Total waste of money and time. I'm poorer and wiser now. I'll pay a little more and order the Hopkins brand of wireless tow lights. Some things are worth a slightly higher price.
