As a matcha enthusiast, I’ve tried several matcha tools, but the Matcha Whisk Set - Handcrafted Matcha Whisk (Chasen) has truly elevated my matcha-making routine. This set is beautifully crafted, functional, and perfect for creating an authentic, frothy matcha tea. I am in love with this set!The green celadon color of the matcha tools adds an elegant touch to the whole experience. The beautiful, light green hue is calming and adds a touch of sophistication to your matcha-making ritual.

A very good matcha making set, great for people who have never made matcha before. The tools are bamboo, but they're easy to use and to clean off once you're done using them. Storing the whisk is a bit awkward, but its fine.

We just started getting into matcha and this kit has been perfect. I definitely prefer the bamboo material vs the plastic resin others touted. Yes, you need to clean it after each use, but this is easy to do and comes with a nice holder to help it dry. For an affordable starter kit for matcha tea, it’s a great option.

This bamboo whisk may look delicate, but it’s sturdy enough to whisk matcha in a bowl effectively, and it maintained its shape after being rinsed with warm water. The whisk fits perfectly over the chasen holder, allowing it to dry while retaining its form. The set also includes a small bamboo spoon for stirring and a slender bamboo matcha scoop, which fits easily into small containers. I was able to achieve a lovely froth on the matcha, and there were no clumps of tea left at the bottom of my matcha latte. This set is an excellent addition to your matcha preparation routine!

This set came with a whisk, holder, spoon, and scoop. Before each use, the bamboo whisk should be soaked in water for a couple of minutes to avoid breakage. The whisk mixed the matcha and water thoroughly, eliminating lumps of powder. After use, the whisk simply needs to be rinsed in water and left to air dry. Afterward, it can be placed on the ceramic holder to retain its shape and protect it.The macha mixture was incorporated smoothly with milk to create a delicious matcha latte. I'm very pleased with the results using this whisk set.

So I had bought a matcha set in Japan when I visited. Needless to say it was time to replace my whisk and I had been comparing some different ones on Amazon. I think this set was a good value so I decided to give it a try. This whisk came in a plastic cylinder very similarly to the one I got overseas. It opened up very beautifully during the initial boil/soak and it has been a dream to use. It breaks up the matcha just like my old one did. I like that this set came with a stand, I prefer a minimalist style so I ordered the black set. With traditional Japanese matcha you use the utensils included during the process of making a nice cup so I really appreciated that the set included these. This set is easy to use, easy to clean, and very simple. I will continue to get great use out of it. I would recommend.

The set comes boxed and ready for gift-giving. The whisk (chasen) comes fully protected and enclosed in a sturdy, clear plastic container, which I recommend saving in case you want to take your chasen on the go.I’ve tried whisking matcha powder with a milk frother, which didn’t work, to say the least. I ended up with a lumpy and undrinkable matcha. This chasen is simple, effective, and elegant. Having a porcelain stand upon which you can dry and store the chasen when not in use is perfect.I appreciate that even if I am not a Zen tea master, just one YouTube video later, I could whisk my matcha powder into shape. I haven’t used the scoop and spoon yet, but all appear nicely crafted and made to last. Since there are experts who can better describe how to make matcha, I will not go into that here! This review is for ASIN: B0DHZ447TMMatcha Whisk Set - Handcrafted Matcha Whisk (Chasen) - Matcha Whisk Holder (Chasen Rest), Matcha Whisk Traditional Scoop (Chashaku) - Tea Spoon (Chashaku) (Black Celadon)

This is my first matcha tea set, so I can’t compare it to anything else, but it seems very nice. The wish is slightly curled inward at the tips. There’s a bit of discoloration above the black string near the top, but my guess is that it’s just the natural variance of the bamboo. The ceramic whisk holder is really pretty too. Would make a nice gift.
