Very happy to get this! My 4 year old is a huge Minecraft fanatic and absolutely loves everything Minecraft including all the new movie characters that are coming out! We are so excited for the movie and we'll probably watch it 100x but thats besides the point! lol The toy came in just over 12 inches long and its a great texture as it's not a traditional-looking creeper body and face but almost the exact replica from the trailers of the new movie. I love it and so does my son. We thought the package wasn't arriving so now that it's here he just keeps saying "be careful i don't want to break it!" even though the point of a creeper is to expload he's super happy to have it and to play with it! the head moves, the legs move and it stands straight up and moves around (with your help of course) perfectly. its not wobbly and its very sturdy feeling!

Personally I am no fan of Minecraft, however as a Part-time parent, it is a part of the cultural zeitgeist, So support it I must. Additionally with the announcement of Jack Black and Jason Momoa's involvement in the franchise, I will further support the live action release. I came across this creepy fella, and placed the order, not really knowing what to expect. I was surprised and pleased to see it was larger than expected, standing at an impressive foot tall, and being produced by Mattel, although it is made by MOJ ANG, (Not sure if that's Minecraft's affiliate, or Mattel's) At any rate, the coloring and fur texture are reminiscent of Happy Meal Toys, I was kind of hoping for a flocked effect on top of that, like Moss Man from the He-man line of the eighties. The clunky gears or lack there of in the joints were also on the disappointing side. By far, the handling of the package by the warehouse resulted in the most damage. A crushed corner and rips on the cardboard packaging make it a far cry from a collectors Item. The whole point however was to gift it to my son who grew up on the game, so the packaging won't be salvaged... In Minecraft.

If there was anything good that could come from the movie, I'd say these interesting and novel merchandising would be it.Despite what I initially thought, the figure itself is surprisingly good for the price. It comes in a pretty snazzy packaging with nicely rendered illustrations and material. The figure is held in place securely with these elastic bands, so it stayed secure during transit.The figure is a fairly monotonous green throughout, but the quality of the molding is quite nice since it is pretty dynamic with nice texture. Especially nice is the articulation, since the head bobs around on a jointed peg. The legs are a similar case since they are actually double joined, providing a fairly nice range of motion on an otherwise simple toy for children. They are fairly stiff joints too, so they will hold a pose very well.Overall, surprisingly decent Creeper toy. Its definitely a highlight from Mattel, though the oddly realistic Steve will definitely be another showstopper.

Great Minecraft gift for fans. It's hard to tell in the photos but this is made out of hard textured plastic so it's very sturdy and stands well with some flexibility at its "joints." I got this for our almost teen boy who has at times lived and breathed Minecraft, but the three year old, who's never played the game or seen the movie, is seriously clamoring for it too, so make of that what you will.
