Does what it is suppose to. I had a player that would always put spin on the ball. We used this a few times so he can see the spin on the ball. Worked well

My son has a natural cutter when he throws and I have been working to get him to snap his wrist down more. This has given a better way to show him what is happening with his wrist and arm as he throws.

While there are so many tools out there to help and crew sport performance, this one is great for someone who is a pitcher. Good quality provides great feedback. While it’s new, it appears to be very durable and high-quality construction.

Since feedback is instant it only took a few throws for players to get aligned and start throwing the ball over the top with balanced backspin. Great tool, I often keep it on me, in my pocket.

This item arrived alone, not on a card as pictured in the ad . It’s for my grandson. How is he supposed to know what it is or how to use it! Disappointed.

This definitely helped my grandson to throw correctly. The price is much more reasonable than others that are advertised.

Just when I thought all hope was lost, the package arrived. It took a month in transit from NJ to Los Angeles (!) but that was no fault of the supplier. My grandson is happy.

When younger kids throw, they tend to let their hand slip off the side of the ball (just look at the spin of the ball when it comes at you) Generally, we don't really worry about it until they get to 10 - 12 years old and throwing fast becomes more important to them. We were finding our kids were sacrificing a smooth throwing motion for a much more forced one as they tried to throw harder. (they were effectively throwing sliders, which I worried would be more likely to cause an injury) However, you're changing a habit that they've had for years (since almost all of the kids we get are doing this, I assume its a function of their hand size relative to the ball)Using this ball has made all the difference. We used to work for 6 months to get kids to change their throw. With the spinner ball, we get them to change within a matter of weeks. Plus, the kids feel like they're throwing harder. Having a 4-seam spin gives them better accuracy and starts some them actually using their wrist in the throw. It's a great product - only downside is I they tend to "walk off the field" at the end of practice rather than return to my bucket...
