I own many items from maxpedition and this was a great addition to my collection. The quality is great and storage inside is perfect. The clasp is very sturdy and it feels good while wearing. I definitely recommend purchasing this item

I carry a sling or hip/leg bag of some sort with me every day, and I’ve got a few from Maxpedition that I love. I’m generally not a fan of the “fanny pack” style of wear from the late 80’s early 90’s, and while this bag is in that format, it has a long enough strap that it can be worn as a crossbody sling. While it has good quality overall, I found the usefulness to be just ok for something of its size, and a bit awkward in crossbody mode without modification..Pros:+ Typical Maxpedition quality with very stout zippers, materials, and stitching. This little pack is extremely tough, and it feels like it will outlive me.+ Velcro strips across the front are a nice touch for adding patches.+ MOLLE on the top allows for adding an accessory pouch, but given the slim nature of the pack, I don’t have anything that small. It does look like it could handle a sunglasses case well however.+ Decent amount of organization, as well as a somewhat hidden panel close to the body you can put something very slim into like a passport.+ Front pouch can hold an iPhone 14 Pro in an Otterbox with no problem.+ Enough space to comfortably carry plenty of EDC items without it feeling overstuffed. I’ve got a wallet, phone, keys, backup battery, sanitizer, notecards, pen, and surface wipes in there with room to spare.Cons:- Extremely expensive for what it is; honestly for this reason alone, I don’t think I could recommend it despite its other qualities.- Really is best suited for wear in the ”fanny pack” orientation. While you can wear it crossbody, it is awkward near your side as the straps aren’t designed to pivot (no circular buckles.). The pack can be modified by putting a bend in one strap and stitching it in place if desired.Overall, this is a really stout, extremely well made pack from a company that makes military grade gear. While it has some shortcomings with regard to ergonomics, I feel that they can be worked around, but what I find to be a huge detractor is the price, which I feel is just too over the top for a bag like this.

I am an avid Maxpedition customer but I was disappointed on this one because, I was not sent a "keystone" but rather an "octa".

This is a very high quality fanny pack, as should be expected from Maxpedition. There's nothing particularly ground-breaking about it. It does have a small security pouch on the inside where you can keep cash or important things right against your body. Other than that, not a whole lot of organization inside the pouches or anything, but very tough fabric and stitching and zippers make for a solid pack.
