I couldn’t decide on a mattress when I moved into my apartment. What I knew was that the sleep number bed I left behind with my husband made my body ache if I spent more than 8 hours in it. Then, I remembered a show I’d seen about long lived Japanese and their roll up mattresses. I opted for this, stuffed it in a duvet cover, added an IKEA frame and…heaven. When I had to move back because my husband got cancer, I tried the sleep number bed for 2 days, then dragged this out and put it on the floor. Heaven. Best bed ever.

Sadly I'll have to return this. Would make a great play mat, giant dog bed, or make shift bed for little kiddo sleepover. Description said firm which is not the case in reality. Description said would thicken to 4 inches after 72 hours which is not the case. Guess that's the downfall of buying a "bed" online. I'm far from a seasoned veteran "Amazon" shopper. Anyway hope this helps the next consumer addicted Sapien.

no para uso diario, pues pasando 12 meses te genera malestar físico serio, al grado de comprar 1 colchon de los buenos, para visitas y de uao esporadico es bueno. uso diario por 1 persona de 73 kilos en promedio.

Love this bed!! Mind you i put two of them together but now it has the best support for my lower back and cushy enough to sleep on my sideIt's exactly as advertised i swapped out my purple for this and it's an upgradeThough you will need a frame with a platform if you don't plan on sleeping on the floor

Good for a queen size bed or on the floor. Really soft but not too soft. I dont know how to explain it but its really confortable.

Adding to my original review below after 9 months with this futon. I still absolutely love it. I’ve slept on it every day, and it’s held up so well. I paired it with a dust/waterproof mattress protector to keep it in good condition. It’s easy enough to roll it up and carry it to our closet every morning too. It’s perfect.—I was nervous about ordering a futon mattress and ending up with something flimsy, but this is the perfect amount of thickness. It's supportive despite being 4" thick, and honestly super comfy. I haven't had any back pain since I've gotten it. Definitely recommend.

If you are wanting a futon mattress, skip this product. It is so thin, you can feel the supports on the futon right through the mattress - very uncomfortable. I wish we had slept on this before the window closed for me to return it. The product itself is high quality and the color is as advertised - I bought the grey. I anticipate this would work great as a floor mattress or for extra comfort on top of a sleeper sofa.
