This calculator is a fun accessory for my desk! I never thought I would say that about a calculator! It has big, bright keys that make it easy to use, and satisfying with that mechanical click. The display is large and easy to read. You can use a single AAA battery for power, but it worked just fine out of the box with solar power. It's so convenient to have this on my desk versus using a one on my laptop.

At roughly 5"x5", this is a large calculator with big buttons. All of the buttons work well. Good basic functionality. The display has comma separators for quick recognition of large numbers. There's a backspace (arrow) button that allows you to make corrections. It has a battery compartment, but solar panel has no problem of powering it under indoor lighting. My only complaint is that there is no Clear (C) button. There is an ON/AC button but that clears both the display and the memory (M). There's no button to clear just the display without clearing the memory.

Large numbers, easy to read. Works perfectly and the keys are large enough to use easily. I really like the color choice....so much nicer than the standard black usually used. A small solar panel on the edge to charge it as well.

I've had the same basic solar calculator since the early 1990s, and it still works, but some of the numbers aren't displaying fully. When I saw this one, I had to have it, especially with the color choices. I picked the bright pink and it's so pretty. This calculator is much bigger and easier to use than my old one, and it can compute amounts up to 4 digits higher. The buttons are conveniently sized and the display is easy to read. It measures about 5.5 x 5.5 inches, and almost an inch thick at the upper part, so it's not a pocket size, but still very portable and fits well into drawers. The outer casing is thick, durable plastic and there's a battery compartment for one AAA battery on the back. You must provide the battery, but it works without one if you have enough light, natural or artificial. It comes nicely packaged in a windowed box and has a simple instruction sheet. If you're in need of a high quality, general use calculator, but want some pretty coloring as well, then I most certainly recommend this one. The pastels remind me of something I could have found back in the 80s.

I was still using a calculator that was 15 years old. I got this one because it is a little larger. It has larger keys and easy to see numbers. Since the keys are larger, it is easy to use without accidentally hitting extra numbers. I like the green color. It can run off a battery or solar. Day light through the window powered it up enough to use without a battery. I like the spring to the keys and the large display. The keys make a click and spring back up when you press them. I am very pleased with this calculator, it is just right.

This calculator is perfect for daily tasks at the office, home or school. The large 12 digit LCD display is easy to read and the big buttons make it comfortable to use. The solar and battery dual power option is convenient ensuring it lasts a long time. It's simple, functional and reliable. Highly recommend for anyone needing a straightforward no fuss calculator.
