I wore this to Renaissance festival and had the best time. It looked beautiful, shipped on time, and was well worth the price in my opinion. When I first opened the package, the skirt looked a little bit darker than I originally thought it would be based on the picture, but since the skirt is somewhat sheer, once I layered it over a white dress (dress was a separate purchase), the color was exactly what I’d originally planned. I read the reviews and ordered a size up (got a size small) and it was perfect. Since it laces up, you just need to adjust the ribbons based on what feels most comfortable to you. I also found it helpful to have someone help tie the laces at the back of the sleeves and on the sleeves since they were a bit harder to reach and tie due to their positioning once it was on. Overall, it exceeded my expectations and I loved it!

Ordered an XL because normally I wear a large top, but XL to XXL in a skirt. It is a small. I’m not talking like, it fits too small or, it’s a medium. There is no way anyone on this planet is an XL and would fit into the size. It is the size of my back alone. It does not even get to the front of my body and I’m not that large, nor do I have large breasts very upset as my ren-faire is in two weeks.

It looks super pretty and I really do like the material. It feels well made and looks nice overall. The one thing I will say is that it does seem to run small. I'm a size medium to large, usually, and the extra-large is honestly a bit too small. I can still wear it, since it's a corset style dress, and I am also in the process of losing weight, but ultimately I'd recommend 2-3 sizes larger than you usually get for this dress. Especially if you have larger upper arms, as it feels like my arms are getting strangled in this dress. Oh, and one of the gold eyelets was missing when it arrived. It's not super noticeable or anything, but it is something to note.Now, I've yet to wear this out and about yet, since I'm planning to wear it when in New Zealand on a LOTR tour later this year, but I do like the look of it, even with the problems with the corset. If my review changes once I wear it long term, I'll come back and update.

My daughter is a small and this dress was too small. Maybe a Large would be better. Thay are out of Large so we can see if an xl is too big.

Really beautiful, light fabric. While not super breathable, I was able to wear it over a white dress like in the picture and walk around outdoors in Florida for 5 hours. Granted... in January 😅 I got an XL based on the other reviews. I'm 5' 7.5" and was about 152 lbs when I wore it and was fitting into size 8 pants and med or small shirts with a D or C cup. I could have gotten a large and been just fine though, in hindsight. In another daiz brand I easily fit a medium. I fit medium in scarlet darkness and a med or large in miccostumes. The laces were plenty for me, more than enough. I did wear a strapless bra, or rather tucked my straps down before putting it on and pinned the base of the strap to this costume to hold the girls up.This took close to 1.5 months to arrive.It takes a good 45 mins prep for all the laces and to figure out sleeves. I did attach the sleeves to the dress like in the photographs.Baby approved!

Soooooo beautiful and amazing quality. I was so impressed when I received it. The corset could be better but for the price this was GREAT. Can’t wait to wear it to a Ren. Fair. Be prepared to take about twenty ish minutes lacing up into it.

I ordered x-large because there was no medium or large size, thinking I would float into it, so I'd be able to re arrange it once it got here. The label says x large but it fit like a small. If the back was laced, it would be easy to circumvent and fix but its not. My breasts don't fit. So I guess, even if I'd ordered a medium or large, the same problem would have happened.Beware, the sizes are way too small for anyone not size 2.

LOVE it! Exactly as described and pictured. The quality is great! I also was very pleased with the length. I am 6 ft tall so I was worried it would be short but it was perfect! However, I would recommend sizing up. I have a very small bust but found the size up to be more comfortable.
