Hand wash cold water, hang to dry, about 3-4 times before they shrink to unbearably small. Now you can’t get them in black.

I have been using MeiPED socks since 2004. I am also diabetic and I wear a men's size 9. The last group of socks I bought I believe were too small. Although they were still comfortable, they kept slipping down and it dawned on me that I had bought the wrong size. This time I went with the large size, (men's 7 – 12), and they fit perfectly-– no binding, no slipping. They are so comfortable that I barely know that I am wearing them. They are worth the price. I liked them so much that I ordered another package.

Hubby was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes after he went into ketoacidosis and his blood sugar was 423, almost lost him. We didn't know he even had diabetes. So while he was in hospital I had to learn how to cook, count carbs, learn all about diabetes and redo our entire life in 4 days. No biggie. I got this. One of the most important things for a diabetic is foot care. I like his feet so I researched the different types of socks for a diabetic. Of course since I had only 4 days , I order 12 different kinds and hoped for the best. After a few weeks if him being home and trial and error ( I only accidentally sent him back to the hospital twice) anyways he loves these socks and wears them every day, especially for his walks. He says they make him feel safe, sturdy and comforted all in one. I'm like babe, you can take them off at bed time..lol. so yes to all the wives of recently diagnosed diabetic hubby look no further, get these. No problem. they wash great. Keeps the compression, and your going to make it thru this. And to all the recently diagnosed diabetic non hubby's or the ones with wives not like me lol order these now!

We have a hard time finding these socks in store. They were a little more pricey but they are the best diabetic socks we have been able to find in this price range

Great product there’s no tension on your feet ankles or lower legs. Which feels and fits great. The only complaint is that when you wash them 2x plus is that they loosen up and slide on your lower legs (6” above your ankle) after a while. I’m a dietetic and an Industrial Electrician 29 years old,I am up and down a lot ladders lifts, stooping, bending, walking, crouching. I’m not in my late 40 or 50’s but I know there’s more of you out there cause I can’t be the only one. These socks are the best when on your feet for long days 12 to 16 hours. They help with foot fatigue and burning sensation if you have neuropathy as the band around your door or leg is not tights. (A tight sock will only intensify your pains! Even name brand socks like Nike, Under Armor and even Hanes or any other band you may try) There’s no shame in investing in some quality socks that will save you piece of mind on quality of life which these provide! Although they get loose after a good wash they’re pretty darn good. I wear boots, sneakers, under armor flip flops and even vans in them. Although the high tops will sag which isn’t the end of the world you can pull them up after a while walking if they loosen up which isn’t annoying to be honest they will stay in place for a long period of time and Do Not Look old man ish! Even if your wearing 6” boots. It’s not uncomfortable trust me I’ve tried a lot of socks. I hope this helps as it did me! Good luck in your search for comfort!!!

I get really irritated by toe seams so I bought these as they were soppose to have very flat seams and they do. Downsides are that the legs are very loose and slide down easily when wearing boots. They are also very slipery on hard floors compared to my other socks. So I am hoing to try a few others. May buy more of these but not ideal.

These are the best socks I have ever worn. My feet can breath. No more sweaty feet. I like that they do not bunch up under my toes! The extra thickness helps them last longer and provides extra cushion for walking all day. The price is also great. Other brands cost more and they always bunch up under my toes. My son also wears these and before wearing these his feet smelled horrific. His feet no longer stink. I am very grateful for that, lol. I am not diabetic, I was just looking for comfortable socks. I wish these came in a variety of colors. I will not wear any other socks. I suppose I could cut the foot off other socks to get colors. Hmm, that's a great idea.
