Totally guilty of letting cheap ink pads included in stamp sets dry up. To be fair, they usually stink anyways as their seal is garbage so once unwrapped they become useless quickly. Hence I ordered this stamp pad and holy upgrade! I love that it's big enough to accommodate larger foam stamps, is super wet upon opening, and clicks shut with a magnetic lid. I haven't had to use the refill yet, but no kit I've ever ordered had this inclusion so I'm happy to have the reserve.It seems expense for what it is, but honestly once I think about how long this will last me, totally worth it.

I needed just a basic black stamp pad but this one is far from basic. It’s double the size of normal stamp pads and the thickness of the sponge is increased too. AND they include a bottle of ink which I haven’t had to use yet but I’m very very pleased with this purchase!

This ink applies smoothly to paper and dries quickly, depending on the paper type. If you like to keep your stamps clean, you'll appreciate how easily it washes off. While I don’t use stamps frequently in my art projects, it’s always handy to have an extra bottle on hand for refills.

Normally I really like to use a range of colors for stamping, but also my predominant use is a range of reference journaling and over time I've come to just be really disappointed in the quality of a lot of inks and am tired of exploring trying to find those that don't bleed everywhere. Black is fine, black is classic and easy. This black in particular, doesn't. Bleed. It doesn't cause any drama, it's just black. Lines stay crisp on all the varieties of paper I use it on, dries quickly. The pad itself is huge so nearly any size of stamp is easily accommodated. So far the pad container itself has been great and seems to be drying out more slowly than most any other ink pads I've had. Love the inclusion of the refill ink. Their store page shows non-toxic and low odor (latter definitely true), as well as MSDS Solutions Reach Compliant.Considering what I've spent on other inks, yeah this is a great deal for the overall quality and consistency. I love this whole kit. I'll stick with this, thank you.

This is my first ink pad I've owned but I really like it. It closes snug and safely so that the ink stays nice and fresh, it comes with a bottle of refill ink - perfect! It's also the perfect size for most normal sized stamps. No complaints! Very happy with it!

Great product. My only critique is it isn't labeled as non-toxic. So, I genuinely wonder if it is safe for my students. I am keeping it for emergencies, rather than allowing full access from kids. It is otherwise a great product.
