These are great for use with a percolator. No grounds in the coffee at all.

If you make coffee in a percolator, these are a must! Don’t waste your money on the round disk filters…they don’t work and you’ll end up with grounds in your coffee. I’ve been using these wrap filters for years. Sadly they’re very hard to find. In fact, I haven’t been able to find them in stores for a long time. Percolator coffee is by far the best. And with these wrap filters, you’ll have the best coffee with no mess.

I know that Coffee Filters for an "old fashioned" electric percolator might not be a bid deal. BUT you just can't find them anywhere but on Amazon. They keep the grounds out of the coffee. Thanks

This brand is the best if you still want the great flavor from that old percolator pot. Have bought other off brands due to lower price but the hole punches were terrible, won't ever buy anything other than this brand again.

The filter wold function much better if the hole was more pronounced - when I place it in the filter basket, because it's only partially cut through the paper, it tears allowing grounds to exit the basket during the percolating process. I do like roughage but, not in my coffee. They need to re-tool!

I don't write a lot of product reviews, but I felt I should in this case to help anyone considering this purchase. I enjoy perked coffee, but I do hate having grounds in my coffee. I have used the Melita disk filters in the past and been generally satisfied, but grounds can get into the coffee. Yet, the disks are VERY easy to use. The wrap around filters are not so easy, though I finally am getting the hang of it. What you don't see in the photos of the product in their wrapper is that these are square. There is a center hole that you put over the stem, then you gently push the filter down into the basket. This takes some practice to get the filter sufficiently down to create the area into which you can put your coffee. The package instructions make it sound easy, but I have not found it so. Once you put in your coffee, you fold over the corners, each of which has a hole to go over the stem as well. Since it is square and the basket is round, it takes a little practice to get all the paper in and find the holes in the corners. Once done, however, it does become like a filter pack. Your basket will come out much cleaner, there is less oil from the coffee on the basket which aids in cleanup, and I generally do not have grounds in my coffee (when I do, I believe it is due to coffee entering the stem while trying to put the coffee into the filter.) So my bottom line is I may buy this product again once i run out. I just wanted buyers to be aware that the use is not entirely easy in case that makes a difference in the buyer's ultimate decision.
