I’m very impressed with this item. I’m a waterfowl hunter so I often have to sit in very cold and freezing temps for hours at a time. These keep me very warm underneath my waders and leggings. I’m only 5’ tall so they’re a little long for me and I just fold the cuff at the bottom and then it fits perfect. It’s worth every penny.

Worth it. High quality wool holds heat and doesn’t ever stink like plastic fabric can hold bad odors that can’t be washed out. So much better than plastic polyester or whatever other euphemism they come up with for junk. This is the real thing. Happy customerOn this one!

Originally, I gave this product 5 stars. Last year, I wore these thermal leggings for snow removal. I worked 8+ hrs in them out in the cold one time and they kept me reasonably warm. I loved these. However, when I busted them out for this year, I noticed they started to fall. There are holes in them and the fabric is not like it used to be. I didn't obsessively wash these or use harsh chemicals. I use hypoallergenic detergent on them and would always let them air dry. I've probably worn these 20 times total and I've definitely not washed it 20 times. Its disappointing to have only gotten 1 winter's use out of them which is why I've changed my rating to 3 stars.

Really like the fact they are wool and yet soft, thick, and comfortable. They will be used as a base layer under jeans for ice fishing in the winter time and have already been used as leggings under a long tunic style top on cool days in the spring and fall. They have a smooth finish on the outside of the material and soft and cozy brushed inside. Planning to hand wash to keep them in great shape for years to come.

Stay warm during a trip to Iceland. At first a little loose around the knees, but very fashionable fit after washing. Also, not itchy like some I have used before.

These leggings are very thick. I wear them by themselves as leggings and not as a base layer all the time when I go out and even when it's zero degrees outside they still keep me warm. I have washed them several times, (inside out) and put them in the dryer but don't dry them all the way. They hold their shape nice and don't bag at the knees. I purchased a Small. I'm 5' 2" and was almost 150 lbs when I bought them and I've lost 10 lbs and they fit even better now. I've bought more expensive ones from another company before but had to send them back each time because the seams did not hold up after one wash since they tattered. These do not do that. Very pleased.

When I took these out of the package, I was skeptical about them being 100% wool, simply because of how soft and smooth they are. I did a burn test. They ARE 100% wool, and they are so damn comfortable! Because the wool fabric itself does not contain any spandex (the waistband has a little spandex strip though obviously) they do not form fit to every little curve and crevasse the way spandex leggings do, but they are a very dense, fine, tight knit fabric that actually clings nicely to where you want it to without being too tight. They stretch considerably yet retain their shape well and are not baggy. I ordered a small. I am 5'2", 115 lbs and curvy with 24" waist and 38" hip. I was worried about the waistband being too big since I had to order a small insted of an xs so it would fit my hips. These are not really high waisted, so the band doesn't quite come up to the smallest part of the waist so it actually fits perfectly and is not too big. I wanted them to fit as loosely as possible without being too big because the more thinly they have to stretch to fit, the less warm they are. The ankles are just a little bit tight when putting your foot through but are fine once they're on and it's not a problem. They are thick and warm and very well made. Someone commented in the reviews that they are not a heavyweight wool, and that's straight up bull***t. These are a 400g knit fabric and it is hard to find anything heavier than a 320g in 100% wool leggings that you'll still pay literally double what you pay for these. They are very soft and not super scratchy like I'm used to wool being. Perfect for layering or wearing on their own. An excellent quality garment that I have now bought a second pair of (and another for a friend, and the 400g heavyweight shirt), as I will be wearing these every single day during the cold months. WORTH THE PRICE. Dont ever put wool in the dryer! Lay flat to dry. BUY THEM!

I'd like to clarify some details about this item. The waistband is slightly bigger than I expected but it still fits OK. The ankles are tight AT FIRST. Wash them inside out on the gentle cycle in cold water. That'll loosen them up for the right fit quickly, after just one wash. They length is short for me but my inseam is 35" so most regular pants are too short for me. They're mid-rise. For reference, I'm 5'9", 24" waist, 34" hips and skinny (120 pounds) with long legs.
