I've learned over the years that this type of loose leaf binder has many more uses than keeping papers attached together. For years I used these to bind my piano music together after cutting the pages off the spine and punching holes. These allow your books of music to lay open while playing. These also work well for putting through the holes in the tops of garden hand tools so they can be hung. Another use is in my craft room where I use these to keep my stencils together. There are many more uses for these and I'm very pleased with the quality, strength and how easy these open and close. I haven't had my finger tips pinched once. I think for this size of 1" at this price is a great deal. When I run out, I will purchase more of this brand.

I was glad these arrived in a plastic case, but was surprised with how flimsy the metal is. One of mine arrived broken in half already, so I'm not convinced they'll be durable. The hinge portion seems a bit too fragile in my opinion, so it's best for binding smaller packets of paper. Not sure how it would do with heavyweight paper. The metallic surface looks a bit scratched, but I suppose that's just from jostling against the other binder rings during production & shipment? Not sure, but if that bothers you, definitely worth noting! These worked for my purposes but I'm disappointed in the overall quality and wouldn't get again.

I ordered these for my early elementary classroom to put decodable books on. We have consumable books that are 1/4th a page of paper, so I hole punch the top left hand corner of them and put them on rings so that they are in one place, organized by the sound spelling, and belong to one student instead of sharing. These are quite beautiful actually. The rose gold color is subtle and classy, these would work well in an office setting for sure. For my purpose we ring our books, and put flashcards on rings. Not only do they work well but look good too. Can not yet speak to their durability, but will update my review in time. Recommend!

I was very glad these came in a see-though plastic box to keep them all together! That makes storage so much easier, and one can see how many are left. The rings are just the size I needed (1-inch), and I was tickled that I found them in the rose gold color. I had never seen them in that color before at the local office supply store. I like these for keeping multi-page manuscripts together.Originally the rings are super hard to open, but once you do get them open and work the hinge back and forth a few times, they open and close just fine. They’re top quality too!

I ordered these loose leaf binder rings to use for a set of cookbooks that I created for my family. I'm going to hole punch them and use the rings for an added touch. The rose gold is so pretty and the quality of these binder rings is nicer than I expected. They were a little difficult to pull apart at first but once you do, they go back into place easily. You get so many for just $10! I like that they came in a plastic case so I can keep any extras in there. Unfortunately, my case had a tear in it, but it's a small tear and won't affect the storage in any way. Overall, I'm very happy with these.

These are very, very stiff out of the box, which is a good sign in my book; I doubt they'll come loose when they're not supposed to anytime soon. Be prepared to struggle a bit, because I found many of these to be pretty hard to separate for their first time. Once they've been clasped and unclasped a time or two they get a bit easier. I think perhaps they assembled them and then plated or painted them, adding friction to the joint. Either way, they feel firm and functional. Thanks!
