Screw quality is not very good; they came in a cardboard box that was busted open; bubble envelope full of industrial smelly screws. Had to take the bag out of the house, the smell was that bad. Buy Fixlink screws for a few bucks more.

Review for AOKLIT Metal Roofing Screws#10 × 1 Inch, 300Pcs Zinc Plated Hex Head Metal Roof Screws with Rubber Washers for Metal and Corrugated Roofing Panels (Hex Socket Included).These work well for my purpose. They pierced the metal without too much pressure. The washer keeps out water penetration.Not all of the screws are perfect, however. Make sure that you insert these at a 90 degree angle, or the washer won't seal properly, and the screw tip will walk over the metal (instead of piercing the metal).I like that the hex socket was included. Don't install these screws with an impact driver or you will overtighten them.

These worked great for repurposing an old metal roof that was poorly attached then ripped off of a pavillion. Held snug and are keeping the rain, snow, and ice from leaking in. Very happy with them.

Do not waste your money these will not go through roof metal. I tried one and the tip broke off. Biggest waste of time. No stars if I could.

These screws zip right thru the 26 gage steel I installed on my shed. And they hold well in the wood underneath. They made my project easy. No broken heads either. I would definitely use these again.

When held at a 90 degree to the surface you want to screw into and some decent pressure these do bite into sheet metal well however without some pressure or if you aren't at a 90 degree to the surface these will walk around on the surface before they bite into it. Screws with a drill point are easier to insert but typically cost more.These sealed well and when exposed to water have not immediately rusted.

These AOKLIT Metal Roofing Screws #10 × 1 Inch, 300Pcs Zinc Plated Hex Head Metal Roof Screws are sharp and quality built.I recently built a lean-to on my metal barn at my ranch. I used these screws to attach to the existing metal barn and on the new roof and siding. They were sharp and easy to use.I am very happy with these screws and would highly recommend them.

We’re going to be building a shed next spring because our storage situation is getting cluttered. You know the old saying, people with neat garages have messy basements and vice versa so our best option is a shed to avoid the clutter.As far as the roof and siding goes we are going to use these AOKLIT hex screws which have a rust resistant coating, and a rubber washer to secure roofing material. They are made from 1022A carbon steel with a galvanized coating finish to resist rust and corrosion. Which is ideal for outdoor projects.Since I haven’t started the project I can’t officially attest to all of their claimed attributes, but just having a good look at these screws and trying out their self tapping function they seem like they are up for the job.They include the hex socket in case you don’t have one on hand which is nice. At their current price of approximately 10 cents a screw for a galvanized option with a rubber washer they are very competitively priced.

My porch needed a new roof, and I chose to go metal ... specifically, galvalume-coated steel roofing. I ordered these screws for the project, and I wasn't disappointed. Nicely formed, super-sharp and consistently easy to drive -- and the included magnetic-tip nut driver, compatible with both 1/4" impact tools and chucked drills -- kept dropped screws and cam-outs to a bare minimum. When Phase II of my project kicks off next spring, I'll be looking to order more of these top-notch fasteners.

Arrived in a plastic bag in good condition.Come with a Hex socket.Easy to use and work well.Good deal @29.99 (2024-11-12) for a pack of 300 screws compared to what I’ve seen in my local hardware stores.
