PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
*A pair of brand new high quality compatible with P90 style electric guitar pickups.
*We thought it was about time we added a decent soap bar pickup to our range so here they are, classic cream soap bar P90 styling hiding a seriously powerful output to give you a big fat tone with the clarity of single coils.
*Neck pick up is a healthy 8.22 k-ohms with an inductance of 5.83 Henries. Pole pieces are spaced for a string span of 50mm at the neck. Magnets are North up. Leads are white.
*Bridge pick up is slightly more powerful at 9.57 k-ohms with a very healthy inductance of 6.54 Henries. Pole pieces are spaced for a string span of 52mm at the bridge. Magnets are South up. Leads are black.
*Both come with nice long leads for wiring up, LP and SG style.
*These 90's are opposed wound so that when you are using both together they operate as hum cancelling.
*Supplied with mounting screws.
*Metallor pickups use ceramic magnets as these are even brighter than Alnico V or III, and in higher output pickups to help counter balance the treble lost by the higher resistance (remember higher resistance means more midrange, but less highs if you're using Alnico).

They are very good quality for the price. I haven't installed them yet but I'll give an update when I do.

Donโ€™t waste your time buying expensive pick ups ! These bad boys are beyond great !Nice and clean sound but they also growl if you want them to. Iโ€™m more than happy with these and I will be getting another set for my p90 SG.

I guess it depends on what sound you want from a pickup, but I find that the less expensive CERAMIC pickup P90s sound much cleaner and more open than the more expensive Alnico P90s from (for example) Fleor. This has been my experience on two different occasions, so I am convinced, as far as my preferences go. You may want something different. I play mostly clean with maybe some reverb or chorus and never get into anything heavy with lots of drive or distortion. If I had to place myself in a category, you might call my category "jazz" though I hesitate to claim I am a jazz guitarist! ;-)

I was pleased with the purchase . I wanted a basic set of p90s to put in a project guitar. These fit the bill. Needed to strip some wire ....the white wire is hot and will connect to your switch in a tele and the black wire...which is actually just standard wire needed some skrink tubing...connected easily to ground....or in my case the volume pot. They are quiet...no added noise in my guitar and have a good range of tones for the price.Sounds good ๐Ÿ‘

Amazing tones and growls for so little $$$!! Each person has to judge how good or bad a pickup sounds, but these pickups are amazing! My other guitars are so jealous because the semi-hollow Tele these PUPS went into doesn't get put down anymore!! I haven't touch another one of my other 7 guitars since I've installed these PUPs into my Tele. Just incredible sounding!!!

Wow! I kept looking at these particular pickups, poring over the diagrams, specifications and photographs and I couldn't find any differences between these and ones that are manufactured and sold for it quite a few dollars more. So I decided to try a set. I installed them in one of my favorite little P90 guitars... and holy mother of mayonesse!... these things rip! Clean, Cool and solid tonal range at all volumes! I highly recommend these for the price they are phenomenal!David ClarkDallas. Texas

Rating them on sound alone, they deserve 5 stars.I had to deduct one star for the lack of a wiring diagram. Others have written about this in the reviews. When I failed to get it set up correctly and sheepishly took it into my guitar shop, they asked for the wiring diagram I was using. A more professional one that came with the pickups like some other sellers of pups do, would have helped them. About one inch more wire per pickup would have been helpful. Not everybody is trying to put them into a Les Paul.Once they were installed, however, they sounde awesome now. I have a real Gibson with P-90s in a semi-hollow body, but I wanted them in a solid body that I keep in an alternate tuning.P-90s have long been my favorite sounding pickup. These stand up to the name brand ones. Only time will tell how they age, but they sound AMAZING right now. Save the money. Get these. Hopefully they print up a wiring diagram. Even if it adds a dollar or two to the price (it shouldn't), they'll still be less expensive than ones the big three name brands produce. ... and well worth it.

I am giving this item 5 stars because of what you get for the price. I have them in a semi hollow strat. Great product for the price. The pickups want to go into overdrive after a certain volume so if clarity is what you are looking for these may not be it. These sound dirty and gritty in a good way. Cannot beat it for twenty bucks. Great upgrade some very cheap stock pickups. If you want a gritty sounding p 90 at an affordable price these are it.

The pickups themselves sound good (I tend to like ceramic P-90's; they get extra-nasty to my ears) and are made well, but the mounting screws (which pass through the pickup and screw into the wood of the guitar body) are so soft they all stripped before I could mount the pickups; this with pre-drilled holes of the proper size.I got higher quality screws and mounted them, and am very happy with the performance. Just a head's up on the mounting screws.

Excellent pickups for the price; made even better by replacing stock ceramic magnets with alnico 2. Cream covers are good quality plastic with good color, all hardware included; wax potted, and best of all magnets easily replaceable (and replacement magnets are cheap too). Do not buy boutique P-90s. This is the way to go!
