2006 Nissan Frontier- it comes with both brackets fit either single or double din stereos. Excellent fitment with no issues.

Used the DDIN bezel, it fits ok, not the best. The kit showed up a day earlier than expected though which was great. All in all, a 4 star experience

It doesn't fit very well with Nissan Xterra 2006 + AVH-4200NEX, ended up making own frame with felt pads and for half the price.

I bought this for my Nissan exterra I didn't know witch on to buy for my radio so I bought this one then customized it myself after I got it I used a saw so the screen can come out my radio but it has a thing blocking the screen so it gets stuck so I saw it measured it so my screen can come out this is a great product

This kit worked well for my 2005 Nissan Frontier. Whoever owned the truck previously had removed the original mounting brackets, including the bolts so I had to go to AutoZone to buy some new screws that would secure this to the truck's mounting holes (this doesn't come with screws). Used it on my Pioneer single din stereo and it fit perfectly. I do like the little cubby that comes with the single din bracket.

All I needed was the one piece to go around the double DIN unit, had to buy the whole package. Took my tiny piece of plastic and threw out the rest. Quality was as expected. Wish I could buy each piece individually.

This kit was supposed to cover both Single and Double Din mounting options for aftermarket stereos. The kit nicely covers several mounting options for the single DIN and even includes a nice spacer/pocket for below the head unit, but for double DIN, its terrible. There is 1 trim ring that didn't fit my Pioneer Double DIN headunit or console (there was a large gap on top, tight fit on the bottom, and interference from side to side), and there are NO mounting brackets for Double DIN included. I tried to use it in a 2007 Pathfinder, but the end result looked awful Its a shame to buy a $600 NAV based headunit, and have your $15 mounting kit destroy the whole look of your dash and console. I removed the kit and found a better mounting option.FWIW, Metra expects you to use your factory mounting brackets for Double DIN installs, HOWEVER, those brackets do not line up properly for most aftermarket headunits. So, you have to drill your own holes or fiddle with using custom shim options or different mounting holes in the factory brackets until this fits right. There is a better option, and this kit gets good reviews for Double DIN mounting in the Nissan Pathfinder 2005-2007.http://www.amazon.com/Nissan-Frontier-Pathfinder-Xterra-Install/dp/B00O397G7O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1438693232&sr=8-1&keywords=pathfinder+double+dinBottom line, if you have an 05-07 Pathfinder, and want to mount an aftermarket Double DIN headunit, USE SOMETHING ELSE... this kit is junk. Metra should be ashamed to market this kit as remotely compatible for Double DIN installs.

I read some reviews that the product was plastic and flimsy. This is not the case. The product is plastic but it is very sturdy. I was very pleased when I opened it up. I have not installed this in the vehicle as of yet, but it appears to be a perfect match and I foresee no difficulties with putting it in. In my opinion, this is the perfect set up to convert a double din factory to a single din aftermarket radio. I especially love the added storage slot below the new radio. I have custom fit many aftermarket radios into dash boards over the years and this kit is going to simplify this install beyond belief. If there is any tweaking to do, so be it...that is all part of the game. Can't wait to get it in when my radio arrives! Thanks Metra!

The bottom bezel piece shown in the picture is the only piece of hardware you can use for a double din installation. It is pretty much just a bezel with a mounting tab on each side. I used it to install a double din JVC kwr-900BT head unit in a 2005 nissan frontier and I am not too impressed with it. The bezel is too narrow and if you look at the edges where the bezel meets the head unit closely, it looks a little cheesy. Even though it wasn't what I hoped for, the bezel does make the installation look a little more professional. It's clean, it fills the gaps, it gets the job done.

Absolutely no problems with seller. Shipped fast fro a great price. The trim bezel does not want to fit correctly around my single DIN stereo, but I am not worried about it, I just left if off.

Installed the following unit perfectly. This dash kit comes with a small surround that you can use as an alternative to the trim plate that comes with the receiver. Fits well and holds nicely with no movement. It was a snug fit with the wiring harness plugged in as there is a metal bar behind the unit in the Frontier - with some rearranging of the cable positions though it now sits perfectly. I just used the metal DIN cage that came with the unit and folded the metal tabs back to hold it in the dashkit. Never used the large Double-DIN or the side attachment plates.

I picked this up for my 2007 Frontier. It fit well and the small pocket under the radio slot is nice for slipping in the iPod connector or remote for my radio. It sinks the radio down farther than I would like. On the Frontier there is a hard pipe behind where the radio is and getting the radio to stay down wasn't easy. My standard sized stereo touches this pipe and I had to bend out the tabs on the sides of the radio and screw down the mount in order to get it to stay in there well. I knocked off a star for this. All in all though this will fit and should work well for you. You don't have a lot of options(either this or the Scoche one from what I can tell) and I think this is the better one.
