These four inch post holders are solid heavy duty quality. The inside measurements are 3-9/16" × 3-9/16". The powder coat finish is really nice. What a bonus to receive an SKS 10 mm concrete hammer drill bit. As well as all the hardware to place these into concrete and also includes the side screws to secure the wooden post in the post saddles.

Solid post base. The hardest part is drilling holes in concrete and setting the concrete anchor bolts!

I bought four of these to anchor a wooden privacy screen around an outdoor shower on a concrete pad. Given other reviews, I was a bit worried at how they would fit the 4x4 posts which were available to me from my local lumber yard. As it turned out, there of the four posts were snug enough that I needed to use a rubber mallet to drive them on. The fourth required removing jus a small bit off one corner. I didn’t need to use the mounting screws, as the fit was perfectly tight. I used my own anchor bolts as well. The whole thing came out great. Very happy with the outcome, the quality, and appearance.

I purchased these to build a cover over my grilling station. They are a little bit loose around the 4x4 post but there are screw holes on each side which makes that nice to screw into. I was a little be wary about using the anchors that were supplied so I purchased my own and I am glad that I did. I do not think the anchors would of worked.

I don't usually leave reviews but my husband and I used these post bases to add a railing to our deck that is four feet off the ground, so we wanted to make sure it would be solid. The bases were easy to install (we had to go get lag screws as the expansion bolts included were meant for concrete - not wood) and the posts are solid, therefore, giving us a solid and sturdy railing. Highly recommend these bases.

I used this for a railing on my outside deck they are strong and very well made product I would recommend for Concret or wood this secured the way it’s supposed to won’t fail you I’m going to buy more thank you
