Bought sheet set plus extra pillow cases. Pillow cases that arrived were old stock - color had faded, looked a little dingy. Tried to exchange only to have Amazon tell me its not returnable - but it's PRIME? Replied back to seller with the issue - 2 days later, new pillow cases arrived - WOW. New stock - they match. If you have an issue - contact them directly - they went above and beyond on an $8 purchase. This is the second king set from Mezzati I've bought - I will buy additional sets - very soft, not cold, wash easily. I've been a sheet snob - anything less than 400 thread count I'd ignore - but be forced to wash & iron wet to get that "new" sheet feel. Not with these - they are not as thick a weave as my 400+, but I found I don't notice, and their prices are very reasonable.

Needed spare pillow cases for guest room sheets and these matched a set that only came with one pillow case for each pillow. Argh. Anyway.. they weren't a perfect match, but close enough. And now I have enough for 2 cases per pillow - my preference. They are soft... and microfiber like. I'm sure they won't last forever, as a really nice 100% cotton pillowcase with a high thread count would.. but they haven't pilled or snagged... yet... I will update if new info seems useful. They came quickly (I have prime) and arrived in great condition along with other things I had ordered.

The color of these is (very) slightly more yellow than the photo, which I was happy about, and the only reason I didn't send them back! The stitching/quality control is another thing entirely! I took them to a seamstress who made these into standard-sized cases, and she had to go back entirely around all the seams, as some were sewn (in manufacturing) wobbly/not straight and some were even raw, unfinished edges of fabric! The top opening has that 'pocket' which is meant to hold the pillow in better, but it distorts the satin-like fabric, so that was sewn that shut. The synthetic fabric is soft, like a cross between Egyptian cotton and Satin; a nice feel, however if presentation matters on the bed, they need to be ironed, as the fabric is very prone to wrinkling. I am not sure how well these will hold up thru repeated washings, but held up fine thru 1st washing.

I received all 4 sets of pillow cases, dk blue, lt blue, red, pint - washed them today so I could start my project. while they were hanging on the clothes line I noticed one side of the bottom seam (where the pillow goes through) was completely opened and not sewn. I decided to check them all and disappointedly, found ALL 8 pillow cases were sewn on one side and completely open on the other side. I have to sew all 8 pillow cases before I can use them. I don't know if this is something new that I don't know about but it was very disappointing to find. I would like to find out if this is the way it is or what. If everything was in working order, this review would be a 5 star item because the colors were brilliant and very soft. 4/22/16 - after receiving an answer from the company I am changing my review from 2 to 5 stars. My project was sewing 4 pillow cases together and stuffing the pillows in the pillow cases when I was finished. If the cases weren't the zipped up ones I needed to cover the pillows with the ends of the cases and in this case, the side not sewed helps keep the pillows in place. I am sorry for the earlier review but I wanted to know when the reason was and the answer was awesome. thank you - I will continue to purchase these as I continue to make these gifts. Aloha

Super soft. Have been using these for several months now and have waited to post a review until I could see how well they wear. No doubt about it, they wear very well. I have machine washed and dried this several times, hot, cold, warm, high, and low settings. The color is still beautiful and has not faded a bit. They fit my deep queen soft side waterbed mattress very well. No slipping off the corners. The elastic is kind of odd because it's encased instead of attached. I thought that might be an issue but it definitely is not. I've had an issue with tears developing in other brands but not so with these. They are durable. Can't beat these, price, colors, fit, wear - all 5 stars.
