Works perfectly as needed! The little instruction manual verifies which seal to use per application! Use the wrong one and you’ll have to pull back apart anyways! So use the correct seal for your application!

I had plenty of o-rings (and probably the spare from the new pump) laying around, but I didn't want to chance it, so I got the name brand and spent the $10. Worth every penny for the peace of mind.... I'm just glad I don't ever have to do that job again 😆

I like that the kit comes with both O-ring sizes. You should be able to determine which O-ring you need based on year and model, but this kit guarantees you'll have the right one in case someone was there before you and changed the pickup tube for some reason. My old O-ring was flattened, but not losing pressure. Regardless, it makes sense to replace this part when you have the pan off.
