Cute idea. I would prefer detachable plates for easier cleaning. The instructions are very basic. I have had to do a lot of experimentation to figure out the timing and settings. My granddaughter LOVES the characters.

So we have a picky eater 4 year old and having shaped waffles is what made her try them and now she realizes she loves waffles. Huge success there. But also a big hit for the breakfast charcuterie for the 1 year olds first birthday too. All the kids loved picking which character they wanted. Use this quite regularly actually.

It’s easy to use. Just plug it in and wait. I like it slots since it can cook 4 different characters waffles. I don’t need to take 15 mins to cook 1-2 waffles. The weight of the machines is a bit heavier then I expected. Also the waffle is tend to be a thinner in size. I thought Belgium waffle should be thick. But then again the main thing I got this is to put a smile on my child.

The characters are almost unrecognizable, and the cooking is extremely uneven. Bottom corners are wrong when everything else is cooked.
