Used this as a pre-amp for a headset microphone that was just too quiet no matter what I did, got plenty of volume with this and am now clearly audible.One thing to note is that with the charging cable plugged in there is background static that feeds back into the headset so it can't be plugged in while using but that shouldn't be a problem depending on the battery life, will update this review when I get a feeling of how long the battery lasts but my current estimate is around 5 hours.There is a blue light that constantly blinks but I just put electrical tape over it.IMPORTANT the amp comes with a 4 pole 3.5mm aux cable but I can't tell why since all of the 3.5mm jacks are 3 pole and the provided cable causes interference, use a 3 pole cable. (It's the one with 3 gold sections instead of 4)While I do have some gripes, this amp does a good job at an affordable price.

I have a self-modified Dave Clark helicopter headset that I use for gaming but the mic and headphone volume is low. So purchased this and connected a regular amplifier to amplify all. Works well.
