Worked perfectly out of the box when connected to my Wiindows 10 PC (driver installation required for the Kinect Sensor itself depending on your usage)! The cable is long enough to support many configurations of sensor placement.

Nice quality adapter to connect a Kinect to a PC for 3D scanning. Works excellent with Skanect and Microsoft Kinect SDK (which includes the necessary drivers and software to run the Kinect on computer).

Doesn't work. Windows detects it then loses it immediately. Probably not providing enough power. Spend the money on an official one - this is a waste of time and money.UPDATE: Got a Nyko one for $5 more and everything worked fine with the same hardware and software. Definitely a problem with this cord.

his power cable is for the Xbox 360 console. It worked perfectly for me as I was needing one for a purchase I made for an Xbox that did Not come with any cables,The product was processed and delivered quickly. Easy to hook up even with no instructions and the product still works. I am happy with it so far.Thank you again for having what I needed at such a great price

never got it working, it lights up but the kinect is unrecognized still.

thought this was the missing link in my quest to set up a kinect sensor with skanect on my PC to do some 3D scans. The adapter is needed of course and mine arrived quickly and works as expected. Nice length of cord too, which will be a plus for my intended use. Just as a side note if you are also wanting to work with skanect be sure your PC has an nvidia graphics processor before you get too trigger happy buying this and a kinect. I failed to check this, and the software will not work with my PC as it sits, so I had to order and install an nvidia display adapter to finally get it up and going. Not the end of the world, as the graphics card was found here on amazon cheap enough, but worth noting because it added some more down time before I can play with my new toy. Interestingly enough, I could view the kinect with the SDK from microsoft but for some reason skanect program needs a specific type of graphics card.

While the set up is easy and it works as expected, make sure you have USB 3.0 on your machine. I'm giving 3 stars because MS needs to reconsider the amount of cabling needed....seems way to excessive.
