One complaint I have with the brush is six or more wires came out during first use in the chimney, other than that it worked just fine. I think the manufacturing process twisting the metal stem just leaves a few wires loose not a big deal as the majority is trapped and locked in place. The brush rods came later than expected but were adequate for what I needed. Our Chimney isn't very long but if you had a long chimney, I think thicker brush rods would be needed as these tend to bend and hit the sides but worked for me.
