This listing says this wick is appropriate for candle diameters under 3 inches. However this is just not accurate. The candle flame was incredibly tall and there was black soot down the entirety of the candle glass until the burn was completed. This means that the candle was over wicked. This also means that the candle glass could get too hot (meaning that the candle could explode). I am considering test driving these wicks in some wider tins but I would certainly not suggest using these in 7 day glass candles.

Had a kit with stickers the gel that comes with this sticks way better to the bottom of a candle and the wick won’t come lose.

6 out of 7 wicks created a black ring around the glass. 1 wick didn't burn all the way and stopped mid candle. Whatever they're coated in is the cause of the problem, they curl up and don't burn all the way thru properly.
