This dual charger really charges my 6.0 batteries very fast, no kidding. My batteries were at zero, and it took about an hour to Fully charged both of them, which is very fantastic. I give this a five stars.

I like em so much I bought two for my off grid build, it charges two 5.0z in one hour & two 6.0 high outputs in two hours, very impressive & both are made in Vietnam ...

Milwaukee's M18 dual bay, simultaneous rapidcharger is a contractor's dream if you have, as most have, moved to a primarily cordless toolbox.I can think of few things worse than running out of battery charge and then learning that the batteries that have been charging for some time aren't even close to finished charging. The cooling fan on the charger is audible inside a house, from several feet away. Once charging is complete, the fan turns off.Although it is recommended to only use a battery that has been fully charged, due to wear and tear on the battery cells. If you are desperate, using a battery that has reached 80% charge capacity or better causes less wear your batteries. Once a battery has reached a charge level of 80% or better the light on the charger will begin to slowly flash green, indicating such.I believe that you would be hard pressed to outrun this charger with several high demand tools and about a 6 to 8 count of batteries in your toolchest. I personally would recommend the 8 amp batteries if you are looking into the larger form factor batteries (6A, 8A, 9A, or 12A) for price to performance to size and weight, for me the XC8.0 batteries fall right in that sweet spot. Also, if you use the M18 system on a daily or even semi-daily basis, this is a most welcome upgrade from the standard M18 chargers; definitely worth it.2 - M18 XC8.0, 0-80% in 60 minutes and 56 seconds2 - M18 XC8.0, 0-100% in 71 minutes and 37 seconds

Like most people that buy M18 tools as "kits" I have the standard charger which has the M12 charging unit as well, so I have that one mounted on my wall and this new RapidCharger mounted next to it..I looked at the "SuperCharger" but it only does one M18 and one M12, so I felt (Since I have the standard charger already) this RapidCharger does the trick as it does two M18's simultaneously and performs well to charge even their largest battery, the 12.0, pretty quickly (I have the XC's, 4.0's, 8.0, 9.0 and now the 12.0)..It also has fans in it, so be prepared to hear the whurring when you insert the batteries, but once the batteries are at full charge and shows "green" the fans go off..Nice unit, wall mount is the same screw/hole pattern as the standard charger too.
