This item worked perfectly. I was able to modify my scooter to accept it. It did provide great support and ride quality.

Will support more weight than it's described for. Tested at 1500 lbs with success. I wish I could find this same build 4" shorter, but this will work. I'm building a scooter from scratch and welding and stuff, and I can be really flexible with parts but you wouldn't believe the number of things I got from Amazon that just do not fit like it's supposed to or doesn't fit as described. But this was perfect. Good job, guys. The measurements were correct, the welds are strong, the seals are good and strong, the spring is nicely crafted, they are nice and stiff, and they are probably the cheapest on Amazon. [For the welders and engineers and machinists] Also very easy to disassemble and paint. Disassembly required compressing the spring and cutting one weld to remove a bracket. The bracket is basically a ring with a notch that you can twist to hold it in place while you tack it. They designed it this way to make it easier to assemble, I assume. It's about a 20 minute job.

Definitely stiffened up the Honda spree, for good and possibly raised the ride height just a bit. Good buy for the price no complaints

This shock is 3/4” shorter than the OEM rear shock. However the OEM shock is no longer available.This is an excellent replacement option. Soft but not bouncy. Probably not ideal for two up riding though.

Does fit ny gy6 50cc scooter are the fork and front suspension. Would return but scratch up bad try to get them to fit.
