Well who wants a chain breaking up during an open throttle ride, and possibly having your leg slashed and cut open by it? It can happen, but not if your chain is put on safely and secured. You can go a step further and add one of these chain guards on. This will prevent a lot of unexpected injuries and unwanted damages to yourself and your bike. I recommend getting one to add safety, and a bit of style too.

Got this for our frankenbike that's currently undergoing a swap with a predator 212cc engine. This guard will not fit with the exhaust and muffler as comes for this motor but we've already purchased pipes to kick the exhaust back. The guard will work perfectly once we're done with our mods. It is very sturdy, cant bend it by hand. While we don't need the chain it seems sufficient and will work as a backup. Not the nicest chain breaker but it will do the job. All the hardware you might need plus enugh master links to last for years. I don't have plans to use the tensioner in this set bc I'm happy with the one I have but it seems like a sturdy backup.
