These make it so much quicker and easier for pinning and removal during stitching! The magnet is strong enough to pick up pins from a low shag carpet, and the size is perfect for moving around OR keeping in place.VERY happy with this purchase!

The quality is comparable to other magnetic pin holders. Why these are called "mini", I do not know. They are only a little bit smaller than the other brands. However, I was looking for something that would fit in my extra-deep tackle box, that I use for sewing supplies, and these do... barely. On their side. So, it's a good thing they are magnetic.

These are great for placing and taking straight pins from when sewing. So much easier than a pin cushion.Paperclips would work great as well, I'm sure.

A friend recommended a magnetic pin holder. When I saw three small ones I decided that would be way better than one. One by the sewing machine, one on the ironing board and the third in the work area. When I showed my friend this set of three she immediately ordered it since had the single large magnetic pin holder. It holds pins securely and if you somehow spill some, you can just sweep this across and it will pick them up.

I guess I could have looked at the measurements, but I just assumed these would be really tiny. They are not. They are a nice, useful size. My pins lined up neatly right away. If there were another mini set in a different color scheme, I'd buy it! It's perfect for 3 different types of sewing pins.

I liked the small size. I teach an after school sewing class and the kiddos are always having trouble keeping their pins together. I have them put the plastic container on top of the mini magnet and they stay where they are supposed to. In the event of a pin spill, the magnet helps pick up all of the pins from the floor.I have bought several sets now. They make great gifts for sewing friends too.
