Setup leaves something to be desired as you really need the remote which doesn't come with batteries. The menus are easy once using the remote... just don't bother with the buttons on top of the projector itself. I played around with settings on this projector and on my phone yet couldn't get it to come up with my phone. I'm thinking it's the cable but I don't have another to test with. I was able to plug up a DVD player and it worked flawlessly. The picture is decent for the price point but nothing to brag about. The colors aren't bright but aren't so faded you can't enjoy a movie. Using this for anything more than video (i.e. work presentations or modifying documents) won't be feasible over nearly any other device. Using this in mid-light or brighter areas are not possible. No matter the adjustments I made, I couldn't adequately see anything on the display. My biggest display complaint about this is there's no adjustment for angles. If it's not facing the screen directly, it is obvious. The built-in sound is not good. Highly recommend using computer or external speakers. The available screen is a great size and, being cloth, doesn't show lines or wrinkles like others I've used. If I don't use this projector or replace it, I will definitely keep the screen.Overall, I'd say this is about on par with the cost and would be great for simple presentations or videos not needing high quality. I will be using it for quarterly scout video and slideshow presentations but will use other options for work.

This projector is pretty good however it does have some things I don’t like. You can’t adjust the focus or if you can then i don’t know how to do it so if it’s a little blurry you can’t adjust it. The “screen” it comes with is just a big white cloth which is nice but not really what i expected. The sound quality isn’t bad but i like that you can easily plug in speakers to it. Haven’t tried Bluetooth but I imagine it’s difficult. The brightness is good and it’s easy to set up. Honestly it’s good but I don’t love it. I think there’s better projectors out there

First let me just say that I am not tech savvy. So I needed help from a friend getting this set up.It comes with a viewing screen which will be used under my gazebo tent this summer for viewing movies, which is what I got this for.It comes with an HDMI cable for iPhone, but NOT for Android. If you have an Android there is a note in the user manual that if you send them your order number and a screen shot of a review that has posted that they will send you the HDMI cable you need. This violates my Vine Voices agreement so I purchased the cable that I needed. So I add another $15.00 to the cost of this projector still reasonable but on the higher side.I have my Netflix on my phone and my friend was able to get it to mirror a movie. So it should work for that and it is allowable to be used for private use. He also Got it to project pictures from my photos on my MacBook Air.The picture quality was adequate, and once set up it seemed easy enough to use. My 2 friends who game thought the images could be sharper and brighter for that purpose but we all thought it was fine for out door or on the living room wall movie night viewing. It would have been nice if for the price a storage case with a handle was included to make this truly portable. It's not heavy, but if I was bringing it camping I'd worry about it not being contained properly.I've never had one of these before, and only time will tell tell how well it holds up, but the friend who helped me get it set up and running said it seemed like a decent quality projector for the money. So if you have an iPhone/Mac that you will be using it with you are all set as it comes to you for $79.99. However if you are using an Android device or other PC etc. you will have to purchase the cables needed which brings the price of this to about $95.00 if you get a cheaper end cable like I did. Over $100 if you purchase a more averagely priced cable (around $25-$35) which puts it a bit over priced. So 1 stars off or that and not having a storage and carry case for an electronics item which issued as "portable".

Received it as a gift for Christmas. Very excited to be able to use it. Tested it out real quick, nice sharp image. Was worried it would be dull but the colors are bright and clear even with the lights on. Very happy

I’ve been in apartments that I could hear the neighbors tv all night long because it was against the wall of my bedroom. I thought it was so rude. I also love cinema and also love esthetics of decor. The sound is awful on this but it meant to be used with a blue tooth and external speak or headphones. Now I can watch in bed cause I am sick. And he a respectful Neighbor. You can use it with a iPhone or iPad but you need to buy an hdmi to iPad or iPhone cord. You can also use a fire stick or Roku. I honestly think tvs are ugly and ruin the esthetics of an art filled room so this is perfect. Enjoy. Buy extra cords
