It remembers the last state even if it's been powered off! This is a great z-wave switch! Works with Home Assistant. The only issue is scanning the QR code but eventually it seems to just work.It's a great size too as it does not block the other outlet on a two gang outlet.

I like most anything these people do, and ZWave is a game changer for home automation. Plugs in well to my home security and can automate about any plug in my house with it. Saves money too, when managed wisely.

J'ai un garage qui est à quelques mètres de la maison et ce dernier a un revêtement de tôle qui agit comme cage de faraday. J'ai une serrure Schlage Z-Wave et la batterie de cette dernière ne durait que 2 semaines étant donnée la distance trop grande entre la maison et le garage. En ajoutant cette prise, une dans la maison et une dans le garage près de la fenêtre et après avoir rebâtit le "mesh" Z-Wave dans Home Assistant, maintenant j'ai un signal fort entre la serrure Schlage et les piles de ce dernier sont encore à plus de 90% après plus de 2 mois. C'était un excellent investissement!

Inclusion via DSK works flawlessly with Habitat. Very quick response to commands.My only qualmis that for the price I feel this device should also offer energy monitoring. That and/or a USB port.

These little minoston Z Wave outlets are great. They integrated easily with my alarm system and work perfectly. Except one of them stopped working after a while. I emailed the sellers and they responded immediately, worked with me to solve the problem and were professional and kind at all times. If you want Z Wave controllers, this is the place to buy them!! I highly recommend.

This Minostan mini-plug is well priced. It was easy to add to my Hubitat Z-Wave system and integrate with my Alexa voice assistant. Unlike some devices I've used, the plug did not have to be close to my Z-Wave hub when first added to the Z-Wave network. The plug has a nice, compact size. When plugged into one outlet of a standard Decora duplex receptacle, the Minoston mini-plug did not block the second outlet, leaving that outlet open to power any device that uses a standard size 2 prong or 3 prong plug. This is not the case with quite a few Wi-Fi and Z-Wave mini-plugs from other companies. If you plug one of their smart plugs into one outlet of a duplex receptacle pair, the device partially covers the second outlet - and it can't be used. Minoston seems to have paid more attention than their competitors to these and other ease of use details. When these details are ignored, adding and using smart home tech in a real world house can give one the proverbial "royal pain". Good job, Minoston!

These are useless.I bought a 2-pack. Both paired fine. One disconnected immediately and wouldn't pair again, no matter how much I reset it to rejoin per the directions.The other one is paired but loses connection at about 1/3 the distance of my farthest connected Zwave devices. When connected it doesn't act as a repeater or extend the range at all.I'm looking for the packaging to send these both back.

I purchased two different models of this product: the MP21Z and the MP21ZP.Model MP21Z:This is a fairly straightforward plug. You can put it into pairing mode per the included instructions - but it also goes into pairing mode the first time it's plugged in. So put your gateway into pairing mode, plug in the plug, and away you go.I'm using Home Assistant supervisor-2021.09.0, core-2021.9.6, deployed via OVA on an ESXi host with a z-wave dongle connected via USB passthrough, and it saw this plug immediately without any problems.Be mindful that this plug is only rated for 10 amps, and this model does NOT report power usage. This model is also not a dimmer. It does on/off only. I'm using it to control some low-wattage lamp bulbs, so it's perfect for those needs.Model MP21ZP:My experience with this model was much the same as the MP21Z. It goes into pairing mode as soon as it's plugged in, and Home Assistant found it immediately. I will say that, while on/off functionality worked immediately, I had to re-interview the device after initial pairing in order for HA to see all the attributes. The MP21ZP does not appear to be in the Z-Wave JS database as such, so some attributes give it trouble.BUT, the reporting that comes out of this plug is pretty detailed.I'm using this plug for the plant lights in my laundry room, and I'm very interested in seeing usage which is why I bought this plug. I've included a screenshot from Home Assistant of the MP21ZP and all its entities. It's impressive, and I'll continue to get these plugs to use in my home.
