While installing the camera, one of the 2 cables was too short by a millimeter. I had to struggle to get it connected. Weeks after installing it, I dropped my phone and the cable came undone.

Arrived quickly and really simple to install, only taking about half an hour. There are a couple of great Youtube videos with step by step instructions.Unlike the other reviews, the supplied tools did the job fine.Once I got the phone powered back up again, the camera is like new again, couldn't tell it apart from the original module (except it works now)This product comes recommended for anyone willing to give it a go, and save a lot of money compared to getting repaired by Apple

The entire installation process took me about 3 hours. That's because the tri head screwdriver didn't properly fit for some of the screws which made me go out to Home Depot and buy an iFixIt kit (which ended up doing the trick).The overall process of replacing the camera can take less than 30 minutes even being careful trying not damage anything internally. Beware that some things not included are a suction cup to help lift the screen, some sort of pick or slim card to pry open the glass from the phone, the adhesive to ensure screen does not lift from phone while in use and make the phone waterproof, and the included screwdrivers may not be the perfect fit for the screws in the device.This is definitely a better investment than having it fixed by Apple ($250-500 for some phones) or buying a new phone outright. There are plenty of YouTube videos that go over the steps and as long as you are patient the installation process is quite simple. Would give this 5/5 stars if the included screwdriver fit and I didn't have to waste time by acquiring the other parts necessary to complete installation. Although my overall experience is a 3/5, the camera quality and ROI over getting it fixed professionally or buying a new phone makes this product worth trying!

Following YouTube video instructions the replacement was relatively easy. The trickiest part was the very small screws. I did not find the supplied screwdrivers particularly useful and used my own set.Camera provided excellent results. I also bought a replacement seal separately. It is possible to reuse the original case seal, but I chose to replace mine (not included in this kit).
