Durable product. Purchased due to the moles in yard. I’ve used something similar battery operated a long time ago. Very easy to install in soft, moist ground. The stakes are sorta spiraled not alot but enough if you need to turn it while installing, it works. Large enough you can see it when mowing and should be easy to weed eat around. I know with this type of product at first the moles will be attracted to it so it can take a good few weeks to see results. I have installed all 4 and in one area specifically they are moving away after 2 weeks. Looking forward to that continuing and plan on purchasing more. The price is right!! I love that they light up at night (they blink it’s not steady but often enough you can see them if traveling by) and the solar power seems to be built sturdy and has been working well.

I liked the idea of of these mole/vole repellent. When I received them, I followed the directions and placed in the sun to full charge. I then check them out and was disappointed to find that there is only one mode of vibration unless it will change automatically but I can't tell. I believe those stakes will work in the sun but on a cloudy day or in the spring when we are not getting much sun, I suspect that these units will run out of power overnight. Also since the solar panels need sun exposure , these stakes can't be pushed down all the way to the ground in area that the grass might grow tall and shade the panels. if you keep the stakes up, they might be hit/damaged with the lawn mower. I will move mine to install them in flowerbeds and away from the grassy area.

I just got these. The lights and vibrations seem to be working fine. I hope to soon see if these are getting rid of my Vole/Moles. When our lightning bugs start out in the later Spring, I hope they do not disrupt the flashing pattern of the male fireflies.
