Seems to work so far. Last year this time we has voles or moles. Bought these to get a jump start. So far no sign of returning rodents. Yard is still in its repair status. These are easy to assemble and install in yard. Coverage is acceptable

I have lived in my house for 10 years this summer. For the first time ever, moles are absolutely destroying my front lawn. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen them more destructive. I don’t want to dump poison on my yard to kill the grubs, so I was looking for a non-toxic option. I got these and I have high hopes for them. The instructions are clear for installation. They are plastic and seem a little bit too lightweight to try to just push them into the ground, so I used a large screwdriver to gouge out the holes in the ground prior to installing. It’s winter here, so I’m not sure if it’s the weather or the product, but either way, it’s better. They are solar so don’t require electricity. I’m interested to see exactly how well they work and how they hold up. I will update my review as I see how they do.

Don't waste your $$$! I installed these solar charged gopher repellers (alarms) in May about 4 inches above the ground. By August two of them no longer worked. I reread instructions and it says "In case of rain soaking or flooding, take away the repellent until the rain recedes". That is impossible! Are you present/home every time it rains?!! By November the other 2 had failed. I carefully took them inside and placed them in/out numerous times (out on sunny days, in on cloudy days), but they never recovered. I carefully took them apart without damage. The top of the lense protecting the solar cell is not sealed, so every time it rains water leaks in over the electronic components. The tubes each had some water in their bottoms. The batteries were corroded. I tested the batteries and got a "discard" message. They are shot. I live in the SW (drought), so we have not had much rain this year. I had some previous versions from another company (that are no longer available) that lasted several years and did discourage gophers!

It really works despite its smaller size

When I initially installed these mole repellent sonic stakes, they seemed to be working OK. The solar panel seemed to keep them charged adequately and they produced sound 24/7 for weeks. They still make noise but I've had mole mounds go by right next to them lately. It appears they don't work that well or the moles in my yard have invested in some sound cancelling headphones.

Installed these, next day a snake was within a foot of sensor. However after rereading instructions, I realized I needed to put the sensor closer to ground, about an inch above. Chipmunks seem to be staying away.

I put out 8 of these in my yard to help with a mole/vole problem I have each year. They aren't very robust so you have to be careful installing them. Need to have the hole ready because you will break them if you push down on them. I used a piece of rebar to create the hole. I kept rotating it around and round until I had the depth and clearance I needed. The worst part is the beeping. My neighbors even brought it up so I had to move a couple of them. They will definitely have to be turned off if we are out in our backyard. I knew they were going to beep so that is on me. Wife is NOT happy...A couple of them have fogged up after rain so I am concerned that they electronics are going to fail prematurely. The moles have trenched within 6 inches of two of the deterrents so I went out today and installed a couple of the scissor traps. On the bright side, in one area by my driveway that they always tear up, I haven't seen any signs so maybe all is not lost. OR they just haven't gotten there yet this year.
