One end of the cushion had to be cut off for my ES350 because it could not be installed as is due to the hole being too small and the shaft could not be put through one end of cushion hole. The instruction on the box was not clear at all either. Had to waste quite a bit of time due to this complication.

bumper was a direct fit for a 2000 forester but the boot is cheap plastic and shorter...reused original boot

I got these for the bump stops because I had cut my originals while I had lower springs. The boot looks good, however, the Scion xA et al have an integrated boot and upper rubber spring mount. I ended up putting the boots aside and ordering some Chinese boots on Amazon that matched OEM (the original upper rubber mounts were shot).
