EXTREMELY fragile! Arm on fairy and unicorn horn broke in a couple of days. Too expensive for the quality, which is very sub-par.

Very cute for my fairly garden. Grandsons are fascinated with them. Good quality, nice details, perfect size. I hate spending the money, but I think it was worth the price.

This 2-piece set is very cute. I loved that they were so colorful as they are really eye-catching no matter where you place them. My figurines are well painted and look great in person. The rainbow arch is beautiful, as is the unicorn's mane. I was also impressed with the fairy's face as I wasn't expecting that great of detail. These are made of resin and have a nice heft to them so they stay in place. They are not a plastic toy and can break if they are not handled carefully. So far, they have both held up well to rain and sunshine. The colors are still bright and they are easy to wipe clean.I do love these and I think they are worth the price for a fantasy-lover or fairy gardener, but only if they are durable enough to last for a few years. The set arrives in a nice box with styrofoam packing. I would recommend keeping the box so that you can carefully store these away to keep them in good condition.

I requested this fairy garden set because my daughter has become very enthusiastic about them. I wanted to create a little fairy garden with her (it’s become much more “fairy” than “garden” but she’s having fun). I used them as a stocking stuffer for Christmas and she was so excited to add them to her collection. The set involved a perfect combination of her current interests in addition to fairies: unicorns, rainbows, and art.The figures themselves are of a quality typical to what I’ve seen with fairy figures. The unicorn has a bit too much texture around the head, though there is always a bit of variation involved with these kinds of products. I usually am happy as long as the placement for key painted details like facial features is correct (I’ve seen figures in stores where the eyes are far too low on the head, for example, which would bother me a lot more). I was happy to see that the paint job is pretty well done; the fairy in particular is painted with clean lines and looks great. There is a bit of overspill on the unicorn from the painted mane and tail, but this type of overspill doesn’t bother me on small figurines. They’ve got a lot of nice detail (the fairy’s braid, the texture used to create the pattern on the dress), and the colors are bright. The unicorn’s golden horn and hooves are a nice touch. The rainbow that accompanies the fairy is only rainbow-colored on one side but this is not an issue for us since the way we’re displaying it, we can’t see the back. I suppose you could also view the rainbow as a work in progress, since the narrative in our household is that the fairy is painting the rainbow into existence—so she just hasn’t painted the other side yet.I love to see how these figures capture my kid’s imagination, and am glad this set delighted her just as I’d hoped they would.
