I love the size of this space heater, it's small but mighty, it warmed up my room pretty fast, the app works great specially if you are already in bed and don’t want to get up just open the app to turn it on or off.I like that if the heater is working and you move it it automatically turns off I love this safety feature. The timer feature is great too you can just set it up for a couple hours when you go to sleep. Noise level is not bad I honestly like the white noise sound of it. Great value for the money.I’m very happy with it and I recommend it.

Safety features like tip-over and overheat protection are present and at times work a little too well. On carpeted surfaces I noticed that the tip over safety feature works a little overzealously and prevents it from starting if the surface actually isn't flat. I can't complain as this is important to ensure no accidents! The noise level is acceptable (even for a light sleeper like me), and I consider the heater a great value for the money.Overall, this heater combines efficiency, technology, and portability perfectly. It’s highly recommended for anyone looking for a smart and compact room heating solution.

When I had the chance to try this heater, our home's heat pump had just gone out, with system replacement our only option. And with a serious chill coming to the area, it was an inconvenient time to be without any type of heating system for the house. All we had available were several very old milk house heaters that had been collecting dust in the attic. Anyone who is familiar with milk house heaters knows they are small metal heaters designed mainly for utility situations and include safety features such as a tip over shut off, thus the name "milk house" heater. The heaters we had were anywhere from 30-45 years old, yet they all continue to run, though not optimally or quietly.The Morento space heater really surprised us with all the capabilities it has. When I pulled it out of the box, it was fully assembled and ready to plug in. Thirty seconds of pressing buttons on the top of the unit produced a nearly silent fan driven stream of heat from the front of the unit. Another few jabs of the buttons started the unit to swivel, referred to as "Shake" in the manual. I then picked the heater up to move it and had it completely shut down. Not to worry, as the Morento has a tip over switch built into the base, similar in principle to the milk house heaters we had on hand. Safety should not be an issue with this new heater. It just had to be turned back on.So it was time to dig into the quick start guide and owner’s manual, as I knew this heater had a feature we really like in our home's devices, mainly the ability to connect with Alexa as well as an app. Depending on the device, connecting to Alexa can be frustrating at times, but this did not prove to be the case with this unit. My wife normally manages the Alexa connections, but I did this one, and it took me less than five minutes to remember the process and get it connected. Keep in mind that anytime the unit is unplugged, it will have to reconnect to Wi-Fi (done initially through a phone app), but it does the reconnection automatically and quickly. We then found ourselves never having to touch the heater to use it. Just call out to Echo (our Alexa system) and give verbal commands like on or off, temperature, shake, or set a timer. The command list is included with the guide. Pretty cool.Overall, we are both extremely impressed with this little heater. As the picture shows, it is about the height of a standard milk house heater and is rated at the same wattage. The rotating ability dispersed heat over a wider area, and managed to keep our living room warm despite the temperature outside being in the low 40's.Time will tell as to the longevity of the unit, as the material is a black satin finish plastic material and black metal heater grille. The unit has a heavy duty two prong cord with control buttons built into the top and a display on the face that shuts off when the unit has been running for a minute or so. It also has a removable grille on the rear air intake with a fine mesh screen that can be easily cleaned. Very well thought out design.At the end of the heating season, I plan to clean the unit and repackage it in its box for safe storage during the off season. Our collection of milk house heaters will be going back into the attic. This heater is a keeper. Highly recommended.
