It starts off in Volume Mode where toe down is full Volume and toe up is off and has a smooth Audio Taper ideal for Swells. Pivot your heel to hit the switch and activate Wah Mode, but not just any Wah Mode… It’s Morley iconic Power Wah with it’s wide sweep and aggressive feel. The Wah Circuit also has a 20 dB Boost Control for when you need to ascend into Guitar Greatness or level it back for more subtle playing. Think of it like a Volume Pedal with the Wah Pedal option when you need it. The Wah can also parked for Cocked Wah tones giving you another level of Tone filtering options. Another great feature is Morley’s premium buffer circuit that protects your tone from any mischief in your signal chain. LED Indication also lets you know when the Wah is active. Morley’s Treadle Glow Technology keeps your treadle illuminated on dark stages so you know where your pedal is when you need it most. THE WAH EFFECT IS SPECTACULAR, THE VOLUME NOT SO MUCH, IT IS VERY SHORT AND DOESN'T HAVE MUCH RANGE, BUT AS A WAH IT IS INCREDIBLE

The positive, its small and compact. Fits nicely on a pedal board. You can adjust the wah sound. I had an original silver morley volume/wah from the early 80's. Back then, when u stepped on the botton to activate the wah, it was like a 30 decible gain!! No volume control. My dad wired in a separte volumn dial on the side for me. Hell, we may have actually been the very first to do that (should have patented that :-) ).The negatives - the envelope for this is REALLY, REALLY small. Like, a 10 degree range. After that, nothing. Very little dyanmic change after that. So, within that very small window you go through the ENTIRE wah sound change. It also eats batteries like M&Ms. Make sure to get a power supply.

The Morley power wash volume model does not function well at all. Tested against a clean signal from my gibson it creates very load buzzing and crackling noises in volume mode. Plugged straight into the amp without the pedal I have no issues. I used the pedal with a 9 volt battery not an external power supply. So the noise problem is definitely in the Morley unit itself. I am sending it back. I will likely just get another Jim Dunlop volume expression pedal that I am used to.The wah itself though was not too bad and did not have the same noise issue. If you want a wah pedal with a volume pedal for momentary novelty this might be for you. If you need a volume pedal to work sadly this doesn’t do it.

Me gusta que tenga esa doble funcion de way y volumen con un tamaño mediano, hay pedales más pequeños, pero no ocupa mucho espacio en la Pedalboard

Base is a little bit high, but that’s OK. Pedal works well.

I agree with a previous reviewer. When in volume mode you have to get to about 30% before volume activates. Not a smooth transition at all and then it's touchy after that. Hard to do multiple quick volume swells with good effect. If you just need something for volume on/off with Wah it's fine for that. The wah is decent and I like the boost capability. Overall it doesn't function well in the dual capacity it is advertised to do.

Loved this unit.Pros- Wah sounds great- You can increase/reduce the wah boost to better blend in the mix of the tracks/band that you are playing along to- Volume pedal is useful too. It is like an audio taper and not linear like traditional volume pedals so the amount of swelling is a bit less. I believe Morley designed it that way to accommodate different string instruments. Because is different people that expect a usual volume pedal are leaving negative reviews. It is simply a design choice Morley engineers made. I suggest you try it for a while... you may like it.- Allows you to simplify your board and save money with two pedals in one.- It looks bad ass and the glow in the dark Morley logo on the pedal itself is very cool. This makes the pedal easy to spot in low light- There is no volume drop or coloring of sound (nothing, zero, nada)- It is made in the USA so you are supporting american innovation and jobs creation.- You can power it with a battery.Cons (pretty minor)- To toggle between volume/wah you have to side step to hit the switch which is less convenient but that is a compromise you will have to live with in order to have a wah/volume pedal in one. I came up with a little exercise where I can now toggle between mode functions quickly/easily.- Sometimes my foot may bump the wah boost knob accidentally so you need to keep your eye on it. I wish there was a way to lock it in place.- The input for the power supply is on the right side. I really wish it was on the left which is where the pedal board is (I have the wah as my first pedal on my signal chain) so I need a really long power lead to come out of the board's power supply and go around the pedal into the jack. If your signal goes from left to right this is not an issue.- The volume feature may take some time to get used to. I use the wah more than the volume so I'm ok with this. According to Morley the pedal can be modified to make this feature linear if you prefer for the pedal to work that way. You can get the instructions directly from Morley.Overall this is a great pedal and I'm having a lot of fun with it. Morley rocks!

This is not available in blue and yellow. Just be aware that the the picture is an anomaly. This pedal is black and yellow and no store seems to know why Morley is giving out blue and yellow pictures. Anyway the pedal is awesome but very costly. For me it’s worth it because the cry baby just doesn’t work for how I want to sound and for me the aesthetic of this one was also a big selling point. I love my pedal but I’m disappointed about the color for sure.
