Only installed them recently but the plastic pieces that hold the spark plug wires do not stay on the brackets very well. Should do the job. May apply a little silicone or something.

I actually ordered these for a SBC with vortex heads and center bolt valve covers. They will go just fine but may have to finesse them around the pcv valve and oil fill cap. Because of my situation I ended up cutting them down in length and welded them back to the bolt hold down to get exactly what I wanted. The overall height was perfect for my situation. I am still giving it five stars because I was expecting this with my circumstances. If I was using them with perimeter bolt valve covers they probably would of been perfect for either a BBC or SBC right out of the box.

Just finishing up a boat restoration with a big block chevy for power. The plug wires were resting on the exhaust logs, which I was told isn't a big deal, but it bothered me. These were easy to install and keep the plug wires neatly routed. Looks clean and keeps the wires from rubbing / resting on anything that could cause a problem.

Cleaned up my 70' BB Chevy. Easy to install. You need a socket or combo wrench to install. Depending on you engine compartment size you may need a joint on the socket wrench.Clear instruction included.
